solid, well-built. Auto-focus very fast. sharp and clear photos on my canon, dof just fantastic which is what is needed if for sports. Definately worth the money.

heavy, but a great lens once you get used to it, have taken several fast jet shots with this lens, having no VR or OS i was concerned about this area, but have been proved wrong, its a great lens.
