Auto-focusing speed and also the huge range. The quality of the pictures is fantastic

The only negative point, if there is any, is the transition between manual and the automatic focusing, which is not the best I've seen

Very good quality photos. VC function definitely improved night shots. Lens itself attracted attention from friends. Build quality - excellent.

it takes a minute to put it on my EOS 550D as its not from Canon may be the reason.
