Almost everything!

It took me a while to figure out (I don't read Chinese) that for a DSLR like the D810, the aperture ring had to be left in the f22 position for everything to work properly.

It is very sharp

Very narrow depth of field but you would expect that on a macro

Excellent glass both for macro and portrait work, makes me look better than I am

Brilliant bokeh, sharpness up with the best, excellent hood, great price. It is a quality product like the 12-24 Tokina I have.

Extension for maximum magnification

This is a very well built lens and is excellent value for money.

Very solidly built. Image quality at least as good as that from my Nikkors. Much cheaper than the Nikkor equivalent.

Not so much a bad point as a small limitation & one I was aware of when I bought the lens: When used on my Nikon D3100 body it is manual focusing only.
