Sigma APO 120-400mm F4.5-5.6 DG OS HSM

Despite being bulky, heavy, and expensive, the Sigma APO 120-400mm F4.5-5.6 DG OS HSM is a high-quality, fast-performing telephoto lens that won't let you down. Because it features Sigma's exclusive Optical Image Stabilization, now you can rest assured...

Expensive- similarly-priced models seem betterExtraordinary- exclusive integrated telephoto image stabilizationEtiquette- autofocus motor is nearly silentEasy- especially targeted for camera owners who want simplicity

Extra- perhaps too bulky and heavy for many people

If you need a versatile telephoto zoom lens for your SLR, then consider...

Sigma 120-400mm f/4.5-5.6 DG OS HSM APO Review Round-Up

Sigma has produced a nice telephoto zoom here, and the inclusion of optical image stabilization will be a welcome upgrade from its previous offerings in the similar range. This stabilization is necessary, as good image sharpness in the telephoto range...

Sigma AF 120-400mm f/4.5-5.6 DG HSM OS - Full Format Review / Lab Test Report

The Sigma AF 120-400mm f/4.5-5.6 DG HSM OS is a consumer grade tele zoom lens with a relatively decent albeit not spectacular performance. The resolution figures are generally fine in the image center whereas the borders/corners are just soso in the...

REVIEW: Sigma 120-400mm f/4.5-5.6 DG OS HSM

Priced well, Good build quality, Optical Stabilisation, Silent focusing with full-time manual override

Prone to flare when used without the supplied lens hood, Loose zoom mechanism suffers with zoom creep, Hunts for focus in low light conditions

Sigma 120-400 mm f/4.5-5.6 APO DG OS HSM

Lenses whose focal lengths start at around 100 mm and end at 400 mm are interesting proposals for many advanced photographers. While instruments of 70-300 class, by virtue of their affordable price and still acceptable dimensions, are often chosen by...

good or very good image quality for the range 120-300 mm ; solid body and good build quality ; well-controlled chromatic aberration ; small vignetting ; slight distortion ; correctly-controlled astigmatism ; small coma ; silent and quite fast autofocus...

too weak image quality at 400 mm ; large weight and dimensions compared to the competition ; bad work against bright light ; mediocre accuracy of the focusing mechanism

Sigma APO 120-400mm F4.5-5.6 DG OS HSM Lens

A competitively-priced, optically-stabilised long-zoom lens for DSLR cameras with 'full-frame' or 'APS-C' sized image sensors.A close cousin to the APO 150-500mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM lens, which has also been reviewed on the Photo Review website, Sigma's...

great lens doesn't focus on my camera

I really wanted this lense for wildlife photography as it is just the right size to travel with and hand hold. I returned it because it would not focus at all on my Nikon D7000. Apparently Sigma has had problems with some of these lense focusing.

High quality product

Bought this lens 10 months ago to fill a hole in my available lenses. Have not been disappointed with the results during a period when the light has often been very poor. It is teamed with a Canon EOS 7D, and together they make a very heavy...

Wow what a lens

I researched this lens for months before eventually buying it from WEX , I even filled a plastic bottle with water to get a feel of how heavy it was . I use a Nikon D7000 with a MB-D11 battery pack and when you attach the Sigma 400 to it ,it just fits...
