Warranty Questionable

On second morning, computer hung during boot. Called HP. No warranty, but HP agreed to help and would investigate warranty issue. Took 3.5 hours on the phone but they got the computer working and seems to be okay. Still have not verified whether HP...

Well worth the money as family computer

Delivered the very next day!! Granted, we live only 2 hours from where it was shipped... but still.. Newegg shipped the day I ordered, and delivery was about 24 hours later via UPS. I ordered an external hard drive at the same time, and it also...

I needed a replacement for a 5yo WinXP desktop to use as our primary family computer (home school, email, internet research, educational games, etc.) ; At $324 delivered, this was by far the best bang for the buck I could find. Some places are selling...

The only 'cons' I have are not with the machine, but with Vista x64. It is going to take some getting used to, changing the way we do some things, etc. I haven't been able to get Outlook 2003 to send email - it will pull them off our online...

Had My Doubts...

Newegg's service was superior as usual. Delivery time was faster than expected. Shipping price was right. I had my doubts about buying a refurb, but I was delighted to see this unit was as good as a new unit..You would not be able to tell the...

Quiet..I had to keep looking at it to make sure it was on ; Fast and quite efficient for the average home user. A very nice appearance and sturdy. Two cores and three gigs are more than sufficient enough to run the installed 64 Bit Vista Home Premium....

Integrated Video...If you want to play medium to advanced games on this, better plan on adding a decent graphics card and a bigger power supply ; H.P. Help Center...Turn it off! Get rid of the AV software and install AVG Free! That subscription...

Good, but for basic home computing. Not gaming.

If you are looking for a ready to use, simple computer for basic, non gaming needs. Then this a great computer. I bought it back in January from Best Buy and I really liked how simple it was to begin. After only two weeks, i wanted to upgrade its...

Fast computer for music, movies and internet. Comes with Vista. Nice keyboard, and mouse. Good enough hard drive

Not for hardcore gaming (although its not meant to be). Small case

Decent computer

at first I was skeptical about Vista 64-Bit, but it works fairly well. and lets me run games Vista 32-Bit SP1 wouldn't. if you're planning on making this a gaming machine I recommend you upgrade the Graphics card and get a better power supply to...
