After some deliberation, ZyXel settled on a £130 price tag for the Streamer DMA-1000 as we went to press. However, we think most people will look for Wi-Fi on a product of this type and consequently pass on the DMA-1000.

I am writing this as an update to my previous review to note that despite what ZyXEL said earlier they have released a new firmware for the unit that adds most of the functionality of the NSA-220 Plus, including ext3 and larger volume size support now...

An average computer peripheral

I'm 50/50 on the quality of Zyxel support. On one hand, their people are thorough and ask good questions to get to the root of the problem. On the other hand it took a really long time to get my RMA replacement.

Really quiet, simple setup, nice small form factor, and good build quality. Sort-of fast. Built-in bittorrent and FTP
