Streams digital audio, video, photos, and Internet radio ; component and DVI video outputs ; capable of 480p and 1,080i resolutions ; NTSC and PAL compatible ; 5.1-channel AC3 playback ; includes 802.11b wireless network card ; straightforward setup

Actiontec Wireless Digital Media Player

By Richard Poelling (thetechlounge.com)

All those MP3's and AVI files you have stashed on your computer can be unleashed from the dull 17" monitor and hurled at you in full surround from your massive entertainment center (*size may vary)...

Video back on your TV, Music playback from your stereo, Plenty of output choices, Software is unobtrusive, 10/100 Mb Ethernet jack,

Not 802.11g compliant, No WPA security, MPEG2 lag using wireless, Wireless card sticks out obtrusively, Poor remote receiving angle,

Handles images and video well, digital audio and video connections, supports HDTV.

"Not bad for photo and music. Forget about video."

By (cnet.com)

Many features. Wireless card ( 802.11b) was included. Easy to use after it was setup. Could add music to PHOTO and different images while playing MUSIC

Initial setup is painful. Hard to switch between photos, music and videos. The Internet radio works only with the preset stations. Video is choppy even when you put the device next to the WIP router

I have owned this player for some time and quite frankly it is an exercise in frustration.
