Disposable Technology

Once upon a time a user could actually fix a device at a reasonable cost, but when the consumables exceed the cost of a new unit it is disposable. BTW if you haven't looked a razor blades they will cost you at least $1/week. The manufactures cost...

Does a decent job for the price. Will require frequent recharges for heavy beards. Does better wet than dry. The cleaning unit is redundant when used wet

Low run time on battery. I suspect the battery(s) are low capacity NiCd 1000ma whereas NiMH batteries would be 2500ma but the bean counters wouldn't have that! The real killer is the price of the cutter block $24 and the foil $30 which will likely fail...

Not bad for the price

Was skeptical at first as it seemed a bit dinky due to the light weight, but it has held up well. It didn't feel like it was shaving as well as the one I was replacing during the shave itself, but the end result is very comparable.

Competitively priced, very light, nice design, gives a good shave, just rinse it off under the sink after use

Head only pivots around one axis, battery life seems a bit shorter than other chargeables I've had (Braun, at higher price point)

A capable, but very lack-luster shaver

I waited until I owned this razor for several months before posting a review. I was forced to buy another razor as a backup because my Panasonic ES7058S is unreliable. As mentioned by an earlier review, the battery status indicator is grossly...

shaves decently / wet & dry capabilities / cleaning cartridges are priced decent / average sized cleaning unit

horrible charge capacity / expensive replacement parts / inoperable while plugged in / long charge and cleaning times / weak trimmer / loud cleaning system

Worth the price

The best product I bought at the best price on newegg so far

The charge does not last more than 3-4 shaves

It works, great value.

I don't really know that much about shavers. However, it didn't took long (after only 1 use) before my skin got used to the new blades.

It does what it advertises, and shaves pretty well (pretty clean and close) compare to my last Braun. The HydraClean system is pretty well designed as well

None that I can think of

Good price

Overall once you get used to this shaver it works really well, giving you a close shave with less irritation. I would give this shaver 5 stars, but the trimmer sucks

A close shave when you get used to it, easy to clean

You really have to get used to pressing hard on your skin, and moving the shaver over skin more than once. The trimmer could be better

Panasonic ES7058S Vortex Triple Head HydraClean System Men's Trimmer

I'm overall satisfied with this but I bought it a day too early and couldn't get the free shipping =/. but $10 rebate is cool =)

pretty good shaver even though I prefer rotary shavers but still does the job. Great for its wet/dry shaving ability. Manuel cleaning is easy and with cleaning station its even easier. won't over charge, its great since I'm not those type to wait there...

won't shave when plugged and charging. Cleaner is loud but not really a problem

Good Enough

This shaver is better than my previous Norelco rotary. It shaves very close on most of my face, but like every other electric that I've tried, it does have trouble around the nose and at the neck. I would still use a blade if it were a really important...

Close shave on most of my face, sturdy unit and a trimmer that actually trims

Won't operate while plugged in (probably because it's a wet/dry shaver)

Best electric I've ever used.

Read other reviews here before I bought it. Someone commented that it's loud when cleaning. That's sort of true, but I start the cleaning cycle (once a week) when I'm leaving for work so I never hear it...

Very smooth shave if you use shave cream with it (or equivalent). That's the best feature as I see it. I don't do well with dry razors. This one can be used in the shower so it works perfect for me. Best electric razor I've ever used and I've been...

Not as good as my Sanyo

It was economical and shaves well, I will continue using it, but this morning the battery ran out on me half way through my shave, so I pulled out my faithful Sanyo which had been laying in a drawer for a week and finished the job. The weight is also...

The shave itself is not bad, and the trimmer works better than expected

but I bought this shaver to replace an aging (6 years-old) Sanyo shaver. The new Panasonic shaver does shave ever so much better, but the slight difference might just be attributed to it being brand new whilst the Sanyo has already shaved my face over...
