Philips RQ1280

The Romanian proverb, ‘A barber learns to shave by shaving fools,' is a fitting phase to describe my eventual mastery of this new Philips RQ1280 Shaver, though Sweeney Todd would have been proud of my fumbling, foolish initial efforts.

A very expensive shaver, but worth the cost, it gives the closest shave wet or dry with no shave rash. The cleaner is a great addition & I plan to use it at the end of a full charge as it cleans and charges at the same time.

My husband says that this is the best shave/razor he has ever had. He is absolutely delighted with his gift that replaced his older version of this item.

I have been using Philips razors for many years. This is the best by far giving a close shave and allows me the luxury of a wet shave if I wish.

Never going to be as close as a traditional manual razor, but it is surprisingly close when used with a suitable oil or shaving gel. Easy to keep clean, just rinse - although I will use the cleaning dock about once a month to keep things in tip top...

Quality of the product is very high - Provides a fast and excellent shave - Battery lasts the full working week, so great when you're working away from home - Would purchase again.

I thought the arcitec was brilliant, this unit surpasses it. Better shave altogether.
