This microwave gets super hot on the outside and blows hot air from the fan. We had to return it. You could break into a sweat from standing next to it.

Pros: This oven cooks great. The large turntable allows full size casseroles to turn without hitting the sides and getting stuck. I really like how it looks, and it is so easy to use. The fan works very good too and I like the boost feature.

The microwave arrived on time. It was much easier to install that I had expected. Basically there were four mounting screws. Since then we have used the microwave for reheating and making popcorn. It just performs the tasks as expected.

Bought in 2002. Replaced door handle twice & control panel circuit board once... understand these issues are fixed & we've had no problems for 4 or more years now. This is a great and versatile piece of gear for the kitchen. Love it.

We've had this oven for a few years and it is really nice, EXCEPT... the light burned out. After looking at the manual AND contacting GE, we've learned that only a technician can replace the light bulb. How ridiculous! What an unfortunate design flaw!
