This is our second Whirlpool Microwave (the first lasted eighteen years!!) and this is pretty much the same. Drop down door makes using so much easier and controls are simple to use.

I had looked at several microwaves on-line and had not found one that was reasonably priced with the features I wanted. This one was the right size, had a turntable and timer,and had the settings for cooking I needed. I am very pleased with it!

The unit is primarily constructed from stainless steel, glass and ceramics and is commendably robust, apart from the wave guide which seems very fragile. The ventilation holes in the unit’s back wall can also be a bit tricky to clean.
