only lasted for 17 months

I have the GE JES2251SJ02 in stainless steel. I have to agree with several of the other posters. My microwave only lasted for 17 months (Feb 7, 2007 to June 22, 2008). Now it doesn't work.

Excellent Microwave

I'm not sure why so many people have complained about this model. It's actually very durable, large, and cooks anything you throw at it! Maybe some of the complainers didn't take the time to read the user manual?

Looks and Works Well

We have had this model now for about 4 months. There are no faults that I can see except that it does take up a lot of counter space. It also has a LOT of interior room. It heats evenly and quickly overall...

Its all good

Lasts 11 months and dies

We had a Panasonic Microwave that would last 11months and die. The problem appeared to be a poorly designed latch system.
