More than enough for a tablet

LG G Pad 8.3 tablet is the best that <$250 could buy for. Do not go for a product just for its brand name and all the fancy terms they throw around and waste your money. Do your research and make your hard earned money work hard for you.

Knock on, Knock off feature, Quality of construction and price (If you get it on a New Egg sale for < $250). I dont think an average user (business and personal) needs a tablet beyond what the LG G Pad 8.3 offers. People over emphasize on processor,...

LG's sloppy software update roll out and display. However, I overcame both the cons by rooting the tablet and installing Kit Kat OS on my own. I used to have my display at 70% with the LG Skin Android 4.1. After I got Kit Kat on mine, I use the display...

Compact, Bright/Clarity display, Good performance it meets by day-to-day usage expectation, Looking fwd for the Android 4.4 upgrade. Overall its a good deal and i am happy with the purchase except the battery life

Qpair is not support in all smart phone, Battery life, you can see the led's glow at the bottom with low brightness, there is no seal in the box that i recieved but the device looks unused, Back panel can easily get scratches, No ear phones in the box,...

Nice tablet!!!

I though the brightness of the screen was going to be an issue based upon what others were saying but i disagree. The screen is bright and vivid and i have it at 70% with the auto brightness on. I am please with this tablet and picked up the black...

Outstanding tablet

Great tablet. Got the white one. It was on sale with a promo code too. Got it for $249 and free shipping. Absolutely love this tablet. I am a diehard HTC cell phone user. Yes, I actually like the Sense UI. Wanted HTC to make a tablet so bad but they...

Fast , easy to set up. High quality. Excellent fit and finish

LG G Pad 8.3 Deception?

This is a great tab, but while checking out a few system information apps I have installed I discovered that it does not have the Snapdragon 600 as advertised! CPU-Z as well as 2 other system info apps state it has the S4 Pro (it appears to be the same...

Light, Sleek, Beautifully made, Awesome screen

LG may have pulled a fast one with regard to the CPU ; See 'Other thoughts

Overall, pretty good

*Even though I can't transfer apps from the internal storage to the SD card, it is still useful for putting music and video on which is what would take up the majority of the space for me anyway so not necessarily a deal breaker. *It is a bit annoying...

Light ; Slender ; Reasonably powered ; High resolution

Can't transfer games from internal storage to SD card ; Does limit screen brightness to about 80% or 85% under load ; Even while plugged in, battery will deplete when using the tablet ; Sound is a bit muffled at a low volume but gets clearer as you...

Great tablet

I came to this tablet from an ASUS Transformer tf300t and a first gen Nexus 7. I wanted something more responsive than the tf300t and a bigger screen than the Nexus 7. I use this primarily for web browsing, email, and some video watching and it excels...

Size: Small enough to hold in one hand, still with plenty of screen real estate ; Responsiveness: Smooth scrolling and responsive touches ; Screen Resolution: Bright, sharp, decent colors ; Features: Multitasking, tap screen to wake/sleep

Speaker placement: Why oh why can't the speakers just be on the front? By far the biggest con of this tablet, but still minor. As usual this makes you cup your hands over the speakers to redirect the sound towards you like you probably already do with...

My wife is not happy with me. This was her one gift from me for Christmas and New Egg botched it. You guys have never let me down before, so why now? Now it's going to cost me twice as much to make my wife happy.

How does a scratched screen get past QC? It doesn't. This was a used product sold as new. New Egg I am requesting my RMA shipping fees refunded. I see I am not the only one with this issue

A lot of compromises

Packaging sucks. The box showed a white unit (mine is black). The box wasn't sealed and there wasn't any protection on the aluminum back so it had scuffs as soon as I opened it.

The size is pretty much perfect. I have 5 tablets ranging from 7" to 10.1" and this is the sweet spot. LG's skin is pretty good and doesn't detract from the android experience. I typically hate skins but this one offers so much that I doesn't bother me

I realize that I may have a defective unit but I'm trying to do some research before i request an RMA. My screen is a total disappointment. I expected it to look like my G2 and it doesn't come close. Don't get me wrong. The resolution is killer. It's...
