LG Intuition review: Optimus Deja Vu with a Verizon LTE twist

More InfoLG Optimus Vu reviewLG Intuition officially announcedIntuition by LG hands-onIt's not uncommon for US carriers to take an

Solid build, elegant aesthetics ; Performs well on a year-old processor

Awkward to hold ; Lackluster HD video capture ; Horrendous battery life ; Included pen low on functionality

The Intuition is a mediocre phone with last year's specs, and only a select few buyers will even feel comfortable holding it.

LG Spectrum review

Let's just get this out of the way, shall we? If the LG Spectrum looks familiar, you're not imagining things. It may have been a highlight at the

Stunning display ; Fast LTE speeds ; Good image quality

Short battery life ; Boring design ; No ICS yet

The LG Spectrum offers LTE, fine performance and a great screen, but the short battery life makes it a tough sell.

Very Happy..

All-in-All, at a ~200$ price point, this is an amazing buy. But if you are buying at MSRP, there are better options out there and better things on the way.

I recently obtained this tablet on a 199.99 special for a refurbished model on another seller and I have to say I am impressed for 200 ; Snapdragon 600 (1.7Ghz). This is a snappy little thing. On par with something like an Galaxy S4 or an HTC One (M7)....

Camera(S). Both of them are pretty mediocre. I don't use my tablet camera, I assume most people don't either, but it would be nice to see some effort on this part. Even for skype I found the front facing one to be a little fuzzy ; Bloatware. While I...

What was LG thinking?

I had bought a cover for it and passed on insurance only because I have never had an issue breaking any of my devices. I didn't purchase this through Newegg but from a carrier. To carriers I say, Baaaaah! To LG I wonder what the heck they were thinking...

Nice size. Responsive. Does what any tablet is designed to do

Crack the glass and here is what to expect. $215 replacement cost (Cheapest internet price). That's if you are willing to send it off for repair. Around town price to fix, $250. That's if they can find the part

LG. heading in the right direction

Given it's small drawbacks here and there, this tablet has held up fairly well to my everyday use. I'd recommend anyone getting this also get a cover for it, i may be resistant to scratches somewhat, but it's not immune to them. also, microfiber cloth...

quad core(1.7ghz) ; reasonably decent DPI for a resolution of 1920X1200 ; will properly root ; Battery life was reasonable, 6+ hours gaming, watching videos ; Both camera's work, slightly noticeable sound while it tries to refocus but not a prob for...

LG's software (switched to CM11 instead) ; Likely prone to breaking, more padding internally could help ; Didn't have a camera flash, wasn't expecting one though ; No extensive testing on using SD card for apps, doesn't seem to want to let you ;...

Loathe Detest

Former Nexus 7 2nd Gen user, thought I would give this tablet a try. I was really really disappointed in the software interface. I really hate this tablet, and I'm trying my best to get rid of it.

None

LG Software ; Sensitive Screen (even my headphones wire work on the screen)

CM11 + LGV500 FTW!

Good deal, I am very happy with this device. Installing CM11 + TWRP was very easy and now it is basically a Google Edition device for $100 off list price

Once you dump the stock ROM this device really flies. It is snappy and the screen looks great. The size is perfect for pretty much everything and it is super light weight

Back is cool looking aluminum but quite slippery, get a case ; Price is all over the place, I got it for $250 which is the most I would pay for this tablet. Bezos has them for $269 as of this writing ; No tablet seems to be able to run .MKV video files...
