Inverted v. Perverted

Why buy Panasonic microwave ovens? Because they're the only product in this price range that (in my opinion) don't use deceptive packaging. Panasonic's "inverter technology" means their microwave ovens work the way you expect them to work. ...

It's the only microwave in its price point that lets you control cooking intensity

The "sensor cook" is hit or miss and the dial is #^$%#% annoying

Above Average Microwave

This is not a bad microwave at all. I use this on a regular basis and have not encountered any sort of problems. I trust the Panasonic brand name and this product lives up to that brand standard. This microwave proved to be very durable for me over...

The little Microwave Oven that could...

During our kitchen remodel, we ditched the over-the-range microwave and decided to go with a small countertop version. After much research, I opted for this Panasonic Prestige NN-SD688S. The very first one arrived promptly, but was DOA. I was able to...

Nice model

Nice model

My 10 year old Panasonic broke, and I decided to stick with that brand. This model is very similar in looks. The buttons are easy to push, the time is easy to set, the model fits nicely in the space I have. The power level is noticeably more robust...

Panasonic Microwave

1300 Watts is right for me. I just have to get used to zapping food for less time. The packaging was a problem, a day after installing it , bugs started showing up. They were easy to kill but it was still a problem I hadn't expected.

Love it! Just the right size!

Just got this microwave... read all the reviews and decided to get this for my home. Here's what I think: PROS: 1) Just the perfect size. Not too small like the 0.7/0.8/1.0 cu ft models. Not too big like the 1.6 cu ft. and above. 2) Did not have...

I needed a small unit, and this fits the bill. Attractive, but the best feature is ease of use. You turn a knob for setting the cook time and push start.

works well but make sure you like the dial

Everything works really well in terms of heating the food. Food comes evenly heated and qucikly heated. The preset setting for popcorn is a bit oo powerful in my experience: there's always some burnt kernals. The display is quite poorly lit and hard...

A nice microwave but with a couple of minor flaws.

A nice microwave but with a couple of minor flaws.

The only reason I am not giving it five stars is two reasons. One, as others have said, you have to really push the button to open the door, which causes the microwave to move around on the counter top if you don't have it backed up completely against...
