A Lemon

The magnetron gone in 12 months. power supply replaced twice in 24 months. Began to rust in first 12 months and progressed to large sections of enamel coming away. Worst kitchen appliance i have ever purchased. Sensor reheat boils the food. When it...

Absolute rubbish!

We have had our NNT774SF for just over 3 years and although I have previously used and enjoyed using Panasonic I won;t be buying another one. We have had problem with the door opening mechanism and now the whole unit has gone to God! We don't have kids...

It fitted into the space left from the Panasonic which was in the house we purchased

Poor door opening feature, seemed inconsistent with the pre-set options that were available

Time waster

This microwave broke down three times under warranty (luckily I bought the extended warranty of 3 years). Each time it was a hassle to take it to the repair shop and wait. First time the main power source blew. Second time the door stopped opening....

I thought it was a quality item - it looks expensive

OK

Had the model for 3 years 2 months before magnetron blew. The cost to replace is about one third of the original price. The initial cost was quite high and many of the functions have not been not used. Buy a cheaper M/W if all you want to do is defrost...

Terrible

Will never buy Panasonic again. Very poor quality and did not last very long. I will buy a cheaper microwave this time because then I will not be so upset if it doesn't last as long.

It is a large family sized microwave.

I will never buy another Panasonic product again. This microwave was an expensive item and has only lasted 2.5 years. It blew the fuze and flames came out the back. Too expensive to fix. Very disappointed in the quality. Phoned Panasonic to advise them...

Good

The cons really aren't anything to worry about, the defrost by weight is actually quite handy and works really well. If I wan't to defrost 500 grams of chicken I set the weight as 500 grams and the microwave will calculate how long it will take. It...

Looks great, works well, reliable brand, lots of "impress your friends" features

Firstly - It's expensive, Secondly - you can't set a specific time for defrost - you set the weight and the microwave sets it's own time, and Finally - for some reason if I heat two identical items for the same period of time, one is always a tiny bit...

Good

Very please with product when working. Concerned about fire hazard. If I learn more, I plan to add it later.

Works great.

I have had it for four years and it quit working. Discovered the 18 amp fuse had blown. Absolutely unable to locate an 18 amp replacement. Replace with a 20 amp fuse and working fine. Just concerned about a fire hazard. Noted on web site...
