Panasonic NN-T664 has short life

I purchased two of the Panasonic NN-T664 models, NN-T664WF and NN-T664BF, for gifts at Christmas in 2004. The purchase decision was previous history with Panasonic microwaves has been good, with a good balance of features and price. The ease of use ...

Display is dim

Nice power and ease of use. Your typical modern-day basic microwave oven.

Must be at eye-level and center to read the display.

Don't But - Its Junk

Nice features when it doesn't catch on fire

Lasts only until the warranty expires, then starts fires

Great power. Watch out for bad fuses, though.

This oven will pop almost all the kernels in bagged popcorn in 2 minutes flat. The "Inverter" design cuts weight and frees up interior space by eliminating some capacitors and other components. I rarely need to use the steam sensor and other gadgets...

Cooks food much faster and more evenly than my previous microwaves.

Fuse blew after 20 months. Defective factory fuses are a known issue. Easy DIYS fix.
