Saves spaces, average performance, short life

 

We bought this appliance in May 2004, to save space. Ease of use: The quick reference guide was a great help while we learned how to use the microwave/toaster oven. It took about a week to become familiar with all the functions. It is a bit ...

Saves space, fairly easy to use.

Did not last two years. Toast is very slow.

It quit working after 1 year.

 

I liked it when it worked. No complaints at all.

It now is broken due to no electrical power inside to make anything work.

Convenience and safety issues cancel out the bargain

 

Rival bills this item as a toaster oven that microwaves, and also "broils" (if you can really call it that with an electric--not gas--appliance); we purchased it chiefly for use as a microwave. It should be noted right away that this is a VERY small ...

It is small, and does do all the stuff it says it will.

Safety and convenience issues--probably won't really REPLACE those other appliances.

Compact Appliance

 

It will microwave/bake/broil/defrost and toast. It looks great with a sleek compact design.

Switching trays is the trade off for having one appliance do more than one thing.

Would buy a Sharp Carousel 2 microwave over this any day.
