We purchased the Sanyo EM-S8000 model over-the-range microwave in 2001. Yes, it's been working just fine for ten years. We particularly wanted one without a door handle, since they seem to crack easily because of the heat from the rangetop. ...

Nice accent to kitchen without 'standing out'

 

We've had this microwave for about 2 months now and so far I love it! It has a very sleek design--no protruding handle to open, the buttons are all flush, and the vent opens only when it's on.

Small, but powerful microwave ; with sleek, stylish look
