Same story.. just took longer

Microwave has always cooked fine. Power is good and it truly is an elegant design. Looks aside, I bought the Sharp because our previous counter top model, also a Sharp, lasted 10 years.. which I consider a reasonable life for the investment I made at ...

Elegant. Straight forward installation. Cooks great when it works. Panel repair without removal of unit.

LCD fails. Start button breaks. Other buttons stop working when the logic circuit fails.

What, No Recall?

It looked nice, and was not all that hard to install.

Exhaust fan never worked effectively, Display breaks quickly, and turntable stopped working.

Do not bother with the Sharp over the range microwave - it sucks!

We bought the Sharp over the range microwave to replace the old GE one that we had. The old GE one was losing power and the handle broke off. We chose Sharp because we have a regular Sharp microwave which we love and it lasted for a long time. Well, ...

Unreliable. LCD display dies quickly. Mine did not shut off - dangerous.
