My favorite kitchen appliance

This is a great microwave. It completely heats all the foods I have cooked, without leaving part cooked, part uncooked. Works great with TV dinners. You just press a button and the microwave heats until the food is thoroughly cooked. Popcorn comes...

Sharps Sensor Sizzles

After having my last Sharp microwave for seven great, problem free years, it gave it up and quit heating, or radiating, nuking, whatever it does. So, being quite happy with our last sharp microwave, my husband and I decided on purchasing another one....

simple to clean and operate

sometimes door takes a couple of times to open or close

Chef says, "Love this microwave!"

I've been a chef for over 13 years now, and have used a ton of microwaves in my time. Granted, the ones that I use at the restaurant aren't suitable for home use, but with as much as I cook at home, I wanted something high powered, and feature packed....

Excellent features, very space efficient.

Opening and closing button isn't sturdy

Sharp R-401C Microwave makes my day!

I purchased this Sharp R401C (part of the 430C family - but not category for it) for $110. You can get it in either black or white - You have the option of using it on the counter top (which is what I bought it for), or using it as a built in...

Easy to use ; Popcorn, potatoe and dinner plate buttons a plus

This is ONE Wonderful Microwave!! NUKE EM BABY!

I had to replace my old microwave because it caught on fire after 4 years of owning it. It was a magic chef series microwave. Yes, It actually caught on fire on night when I was making popcorn. Good thing we reacted quickly or I don't know what...

Big enough for a dinner plate, easy to clean. Lives up to the Sharp name.

The compu defrost can be difficult at times.

My popcorn buddy

We purchased the Sharp carousel with one had to fit the space in the built-in microwave cabinet. This one happened to fit, and boy am I ever glad it did.

Heats extremely fast. Makes perfect popcorn every time.

Stops defrost every few minutes. Inconvenient when you're busy.

Makes Life Easier

We originally bought this microwave for my mother-in-law as we thought it would be easy for her to use. She was quite elderly and did not eat as well as she should. We thought that at the very least she could warm up soup or frozen dinners when she...

Easy to use, fast cooking, carousel, timer and clock

Automatic buttons may ask you to stir food halfway through and then restart.
