Sharp R270SLM Microwave Oven

I needed a replacement microwave after my previous one failed after only 15 months! Its the perfect size for re-heating plates of food and big enough to take a 3 litre jug BUT at the same time its compact on the outside - something of a tardis!

Does what it says on the tin" - a simple machine and easy to use

Looks a little cheap

Quality product

Good quality microwave easy to use . I have not used any of the features just timed and heated perfect for what I wanted - only downside was I thought it was silver and black and its white and black didnt see any colour indication in the description...

Badly designed!

For whatever reason, Sharp designed this so it gives piercing beeps with EVERY action, starting with beeps when you enter time and power -- what's the utility of that? -- and finishing up with four shrill beeps when the cycle is finished, while beeping...

Looks great but performance not as good as old equivalent ...

I previously had a Sharp microwave - same specification but it was getting old. Replaced it with this, which looks smart but takes eg 50-60 seconds to heat a cup of tea where the previous one took 40 secs. Also, it is more difficult to push the button...
