2 years of use and it only heats when it decides it wants to. what a piece of $280 junk this thing is. there's a whirlpool plant about 20 miles from here and i'm very tempted to go dump this junk off in their parking lot.

Had this microwave for 2 1/2 years then the exhaust just quit. Two days later, sometimes the oven heats other times, not. Never buying Whirlpool again! Cheaper to buy new then fix of course!

Moved into a new home 3 months ago. The home was a builders model and the appliances had never been used. The microwave stopped heating food after 3 months. Whirlpool won't fix it even though they know that there is a problem with their microwaves.

this microwave broke after 16 months of hardly using it. The part that broke is the magnetron which costs about $260 to replace. I called customer service since my repairman told me that companies will often warranty the magnetron for over the year...
