I stopped using glass cafetieres years ago. They break. My last stainless steel cafetiere lasted ten years, so it was time for a new one, when the handle fell off. This looks classy and holds about a litre of hot water so enough to make lots of coffee....

Yes. it keeps the coffee hot, but pouring a cup without having dribbles of coffee on the table is practically impossible!

Decided to move away from fragile glass. This has the added benefit of double wall insulation so no problem with the coffee cooling down whilst brewing. The 8 cup size is needed if you want to brew up to 4 mugs.
