Nike+ Fuelband

The Nike+ Fuelband experience is a multi-“screen” experience in that you have the band's LED display, the mobile app, and the desktop software. It's the latest fitness tracker from Nike and the newest addition to its Nike+ community. With a simple...

Great software ; Bracelet is comfortable and discreet ; Easy to set up, easy to use ; Integration with Nike+ community and Facebook

Doesn’t track sleep; doesn’t track caloric intake ; Would make more sense if it were $20-$50 less expensive

Athletes and serious runners will easily be the most interested in this product, thanks to the host of products Nike is busy introducing to the Nike+ line up as well as their familiarity with the brand.

It's around 8 o'clock in the evening on the Paramount Studios backlot, and I'm standing at the edge of the high-fall tower, eyeing the ground down below. The stunt coordinator to my right tells me to go ahead and jump, and just aim for the “X”. I'm no...

Simple, elegant design ; Feels good on the wrist ; Wireless syncing is a breeze ; Fuel encourages participation and follow-through

Rubber coating is easily marred ; Limited social network integration ; Only recognizes activities where you move your wrists ; No sleep monitoring

The FuelBand is a fitness device for the rest of us

Hi Alan – I haven't had a chance to use the Fitbit but I'd say it depends on your priorities: do you want to lose weight and track sleep? It might be better then. But if you want to focus on more effective workouts or really push yourself to just move...

I've been on the fence about getting one of these. Would you recommend it over the fitbit? Is it worth waiting for the Jawbone UP v.2?

These are pretty cheap Nike slides. I use them to walk around the lockerroom at the Gym. They don't have enough support for anything else, and honestly they are just a piece of thin rubber. Buy these if you want something to keep your feet from...

The 'gamification' of real life continues with the FuelBand and its app - but hey, it's all in a good cause for once.

Great build quality ; Excellent integration with app and site ; Very motivating

No GPS (but this is understandable)

Nike Fuel Band Review: This wristband will inspire you to get active by recording all your acitivity and converting it into a new fitness currency - NikeFuel

Uncomplicated ; Looks snazzy ; Encourages competition with fr

App is iPhone only ; Not suited to target training

The Fueldband is very much in the Fitbit Ultra and Jawbone UP market more than the Nike+ Sportwatch or the Adidas MiCoach end of tracking. It's a really good looking accessory that has out-of-the-box instant accessibility and some really addictive...

Getting a little bit tubby? Feeling that you should be doing a little more walking and a little less sitting on the sofa watching television or video games? Nike believes it has the answer with the Nike+ FuelBand. But can a bracelet really get you off...

Easy to use, plenty of details, looks stylish, accompanying app is great, makes you feel better about yourself

Not a training aid, expensive, will need you to be motivated too

We really like the Nike+ FuelBand. It appeals to our inner competitive streak, and gives you enough of a push to get you moving.

Monitor your daily fitness activities with the wrist worn Nike+ FuelBand.

Comfortable, unobtrusive design ; Bluetooth syncing to mobile devices ; Easy to introduce into daily lifestyle

Struggles with certain activities (bike, weights) ; Battery life could be better ; Could do with being fully waterproof

. Be warned, however, the frequency of these alerts can quickly become and irritant.
