Works--- but not with Streets and Trips

I may just be missing something but no time for research right now.

Great idea. No problem with bluetooth connection on my PC. Works with its included utility and "Navio" (simple but cool GPS software.)

Streets and trips will find the com port and reports seeing this GPS device, no luck actually connecting

Cheap, but works (for now)

Define irony: according to the manual: "For safety and lifetime of Li-ion battery usage, do not place this device over two hours with overheated environment." Such as under a windshield. Keep in mind, this thing has a solar cell......

Low price, solar (backup) power, comes with AC and DC plugs (with USB outlet) and short USB cable. Using this with a Nokia 770 with Maemo Mapper, and connection is fine, even up to 40 feet

Cheap. Name tag was glued off-center and on solar cell. Can't figure out how to turn the thing off - although it seems to turn itself off after the BT connection is lost. Rubber covers over connectors fit poorly. Solar cell plastic attracts more dirt...
