Oster 6706 6-cup Plastic Jar 10-speed Blender, Black

It's an ok blender. But it has a design flaw. Most Oster products do. For some odd reason the make the lid out of black flexible plastic which is great, but then they stick this hard plastic center in the middle of the lid. I have no idea why they do...

Initially I was looking for a new tightening ring for the bottom of the jar. I couldn't find it at first, as a matter of fact I never found another ring. But in my search I found the another blender would be a better choice, so I found a better deal!

The blender does what it is meant to do. It is really meant for basic blending needs, won't grind anything too thick, and won't work for juices. The blender has two areas for improvement - one, it shakes a lot when being used. It has to be held down to...

here is why: 1. The lid is always loose 2. the base is not stable and requires much effort to keep in place during operation 3. the buttons are low quality plastic and almost give an impression, that are gonna break or fall off or get stuck

I just got around to finally using this blender yesterday and I was shocked for this brand it is a piece of crap. not well made, plastic is a cheap decanter does not sit right and no does not crush ice well. save your money... Buy one with glass decanter

At first when ordering this blender I wasn't sure of it's quality because of the low price. However so far it has worked great! And it matches my kitchen very well. I'm a very satisfied customer.

Haven't really used it much but is what I needed and expected. I sorta wished it was a little smaller, but it's fine.

Its working fine but gets heated up quickly...so one must use it cautiously and not make it run for a long time .
