Gears on blade disinigrated and blender no longer functions. Company wanted to charge 31.25 for part (replacement blade)...I think I paid 29.95 for blender. Ridiculous...will not buy a Black and Decker product again.

The gear in the blade assembley is made out of plastic and broke within the first year that I bought it. The warranty was not honored and the replacement costs $26.

I would never recommend this to a friend...let alone an enemy. Use this a half dozen times and like everyone else said..started making loud noises and low and behold the bottom part of the blade is broken...too cheaply made. Probably made in China...
