Don't waste your time

After reading an earlier review, and in need of an inexpensive mixer, I bought this as my first Black & Decker mixer. I used it for 6 months, and it was good to me. While I missed the lower speeds my Sunbeam upright had, for the money, this baby did...

Lightweight, fast, easy to use.

The housing that holds the beaters will strip out with light use.

I Love This Mixer But........

I received this mixer as a christmas gift two years ago, I loved it...good strong mixing action and the whisk beaters that also come with it, are great to have for mixing egg whites etc. I make and decorate cakes for special occasions, bithdays etc., ...

mixing power is great, power boost button really makes a difference, extra whisk beaters.

Gears on this model I think have a defect.

Go Ahead Punk! Make My Dough!

This is my first response-to-a-bad-product epinion. I wrote, "Don't Go To This Beach", about Black & Decker's (B&D) competitor in the 200Watt mixer arena, the Hamilton Beach MixMate Ultra. Boy, did I ruffle some hand mixer feathers when I gave that...

The power to tell gingerbread house dough to jump and it ask, How high, sir!"

Ergonomic handle comfortable but motor rises too high in front, flabby spatula attachment
