I have always used Oster blenders they are the best. It's loud like all blenders but its sleek looking and does the job.

I make protein smoothies every morning, so I really put a blender to work. My last blender, of a different make lasted less then 2 months. This blender works perfectly for blending frozen fruits, with the drink setting. Looks nice too.

I was really looking forward to receiving this item to give as a gift. What a disappointment when I opened the box! It was supposed to be BRAND NEW and instead I received someone's return! No warranty card, nothing was wrapped in plastic, no styrofoam...

I often have to stop the blender several times to stir contents and restart until it is fully mixed. The chopper reverses directions which sounds fine, but the motion can cause the bottom to unscrew which results in leaking/mess. Not the best but...

I wish this thing would cough its cookies to justify replacing with a Vitamix. We use this blender at least 2-4 A DAY....usually with plenty of ice. Protein shakes...baby food...fauxtatoes...you name it and it will blend it. Haven't tried Vitamix's...

Is totally wonderful. My morning smoothies are perfect, and as a food chopper and blender, it is great. I bought it for the horsepower, and it is everything it claims.

I made a simple smoothie, bananas, coconut milk and raw almonds. It didn't blend the almonds very well, a lot of chunks fell to the bottom and stayed there. I tried all the settings but no luck.

I was very disappointed with this blender. The glass jar is too high and top heavy. I should have guessed that by looking at it. However on line, this did not stand out to me. My old Oster Blender had the same size glass jar however the base was wider...

I've only used this product for smoothies so far, but its ice crushing ability is great. All ice cubes get crushed up well and the protein powder and ingredients get mixed in together without having to hand stir.
