We love this beater. We have a really nice large KitchenAid stand mixer, but the beater that comes with it does not scrape the sides of the bowl. This beater is the perfect solution - we're really glad we bought it.

As a stand mixer, it doesn't work well. The ingredients at the center and bottom of the pan don't get incorporated into the batter. It might work better as just a hand mixer.
