I brought this to make baby food. I found that for the time I needed to whizz it, I could smell it over heating. I'm sure it would be fine for eg making milkshakes and smoothies that a quick blitz is fine. I've gone back to my liquidiser unfortunately

The Blender is good for most foods, The Jug is a bit heavy to lift when it full, but i am a pensioner and that's very important to me but i manage ok. Great price, easy to clean, hassle free up till now
