A plastic product that is not very good quality & is difficult & laborious to clean. The tap at the base of the goblet is a trap for food; it has to be dis-assembled each time the Smoothie Maker is used. Buy a good quality hand blender/mixer.

Does everything it should, I'm very happy with it. Easy to clean, which is a big plus. The pouring tap is more useful than I originally thought, although it gets blocked quite easily unless fruit / veg has its skin removed.
