For the first week, this seemed great. And then, for no apparant reason the bottom of the jug fell away from the top when taking it out of the housing bit, spilling all the contents directly into the motor unit. End of blender.

This blender beats all the others in the family! Including Kitchenaid, Waring, and the iconic American one ( the name escapes me) I love it! Easy to clean, quiet, works with hot soup, lid easy to fit and 'fastens' on,pleasant to use nice soft start etc.
