We used these blenders in a coffee house as backups. They worked very well in crushing ice or mixing drinks.

This could have and should have been a nice blender. It's a good looking unit on the counter top, and it did a good job of making ice blended drinks for maybe eight times. Compared to my weakling Waring which could barely handle one regular ice cube...
