It didn't even last out the warranty

I bought a Target Chief Hand Blender in Feb 2013. I used it for soups quite a bit during 2013, but didn't use it much over the summer. When I returned to it in Feb 2014 I found the blade wouldn't move. This happened to be exactly one year since I had...

I think there may be a design fault in this machine. The bottom of the shaft casing it not sealed and so liquid can get up into the shaft casing. This is impossible to clean or to dry out. Also very bad warranty service.

Amazingly good!

I got this on sale for $8!! It's great. Using it to make banana smoothies. It's not super powerful to go thru nuts I think , but it's great for tomatoes etc etc, or any soups. Only used for a few days so far. I bought a Bellini hand blender before...
