Lots of movement ; Clear Picture

Since it has been a few months using the first LCD the newly purchased LCD looks brighter. I have to turn down all contrast and brightness so I don't go blind. Also I don't know if this effects everyone but the text at 1080 is too small so I enlarge...

I bought this monitor for the swivel/pivot features - I have it oriented so it's taller than it is wide. No problems with it

It does take a few seconds to fire up. Nothing you'll lose sleep over though

First of all this review is mostly towards newegg and not the product. I ordered this along with all the other components for a new gaming computer. When it finally arrived the first thing I noticed was the box was ripped all over and taped together....

big; cheap; can rotate

big, kinda blurry, display effects significantly worse than Acer X233H (my older screen); not worth it unless you wanna play with Newegg.com's return policy....; the display effect is even worse when rotated

The range of motion of this monitor is exactly as advertised, and the picture quality is amazing. It looks much better when placed in portrait mode than any other monitor with which I've done the same. The base is very sturdy; this thing's not going...

It's heavy, it's hot, and it makes my 23" Acer look like garbage. My only real concern is power consumption - but if that were enough to drop an egg, I wouldn't be driving it with Fermi technology

I have it set up in portrait mode as a second monitor, which was very easy with the locking mechanism on the back of the monitor which allows you to spin the screen on it's stand

The monitor quality isn't STELLAR, but that's what you get for this price ; I have it setup in portrait mode, so the problems of LCD monitors when viewed from low (brightens) or high (darkens) angles becomes a problem when viewed from sharp left...

It did turn on out of the box

we have purchased around 40 of the Acer 24" monitors in a large bulk order a few months ago. Over 50% of them have gone bad within the first 2 months. Yellowing in the lower right hand corner
