Quality QHD panel

This is a very high quality panel. The colors are extremely rich and bright (I recommend the sRGB color setting), and the screen real estate is absolutely huge moving up from a 1920*1200 monitor. Games are beautiful on this screen, and I'm sure I will...

There are only a couple of things preventing this from getting 5 stars. There is a bit of IPS glow when on a black screen, which is somewhat annoying, but I know that is par for the course with an IPS panel. The thing that is really costing this panel...

The monitor you should get if you have <$350 in 2015

I got this monitor for $320 after a Newegg coupon. It was a steal. I'd be willing to pay $400 for it, now that I've used it for a couple of months.

If you're upgrading from an old TFT, you're going to wonder why the hell you've been looking at one all those years. ("Wait, whites aren't supposed to have a green tinge, even after color correction?") ; The picture is incredibly bright and clear,...

The speakers are the worst I've ever heard--no joke, the speakerphone on a 10-year-old Nokia phone sounds better. But who buys a thin-profile monitor expecting that? Gimme a break. No egg-docking here: You know you're going to headphone it, connect...

Acer Monitor Again

Not sure why monitor mfg's are still insisting on putting junk speakers in monitors...the 90's are over.

LED, thin, runs cool, stand is ez setup and adjusts up-down and left to right

Wish the speakers were not built in

Great monitor for the cheap

To be honest, I was very anxious about getting this as I've had bad experiences with Acer products not lasting very long. But for $349 (on sale during black friday), I thought maybe it's worth a shot. So when I got it, I was pretty relieved that mine...

Surprisingly affordable ; Screen looks great ; Lots of configurable options ; USB 3.0 ports, lots of it too ; Swivels & height is adjustable ; All kinds of display cables included

Bland design ; Light bleeding at the bottom-right ; Lackluster speakers

Great Monitor

Great Monitor. I tried it with my old DVI cable and the 1920 x1080 resolution looked really nice. With the DP cable I get the full resolution and it is 100% crisp. The monitor is really bright. My second monitor (an 24" ASUS) now looks like it has been...

died after 2 weeks

very good picture quality

rather unexpected that it went dark after about 2 weeks. thankfully I hadn't sold my 3yrs old 24" Acer ; Acer wanted to repair it, newegg offered a refund. I went for the latter

Works for clear text for the older eyes amongst us

Cheapest hi res monitor you can get so you can read text at high resolution. Older eyes will love how clear the text is. Just remember to buy a video card that can do the DVI type that this monitor supports. Unless you are driving with a MAC your...

Came with DVI, display port, and RGB cable. Raises and tilts

Needs a graphics card, your Windows box can't push highest rez on its own

Good Budget Monitor - but Speakers are Useless

I read the reviews going in, but I thought I'd at least be able to get by for a while until I bought a better speaker system. I was looking for a 1440p monitor with height adjustment, and this least expensive one available with or without the speakers,...

Height, swivel, and rotation adjustment ; Best price for a fully adjustable 1440p monitor ; Easy to use controls - easy to switch between inputs ; Lots of included cables

Speakers are completely useless. Another reviewer compared the speakers to placing ear-buds on the desk, and he's absolutely correct. Do not buy expecting to be able to even use the speakers ; I'm not a display expert, so I'm not really able to comment...

Great so far...

I'll give it 5 eggs after a couple of months to be sure all is well.

Great picture. No dead pixels or buzzing sounds. There is some light 'bleed' in the corners, but nothing noticable during normal usage. Very happy with the whole package and price

None. I'm wondering if some reviewers that had bad DisplayPorts were plugging it into the wrong one. There's 2 of them, and input and output. The output is meant as a passthrough port so plugging you computer into that won't produce a picture. The...

Great high-resolution LCD for the price

If you're wary of the really cheap 2560x1440 monitors from Korea (which from what I've read, have less sturdy stands), this may be a safer bet. This is a good display but I ended up RMAing it to get wider color gamut display for sensitive color work.

The 2560x1440 resolution looks great for most computer work and casual gaming. Mine had zero dead pixels. The stand was sturdy and there were a variety of inputs

The W-LED backlighting isn't the best (weaker in reds and greens), but for the price, it's appropriate. The build quality could be a little better; the bezel feels a little flimsy
