You get what you pay for

Cons aren't enough to take off an egg due to VERY low price. Wait for a good sale, they seem to happen fairly often (~120$ off). Again, cheapest 144Hz monitor out there. You will never see 60Hz the same way again, the difference is indescribable.

Cheapest 144Hz monitor out there ; Power efficient - monitor doesn't get really hot, unlike some others ; Vibrant and clear colors

No DisplayPort option ; Screen takes ~10 seconds to turn on ; Barely adjustable stand

Great 144hz 1080p Monitor

This is my first foray into higher than 60hz refresh rate panels on PC and I have to say that I definitely see why people say this is the ultimate experience for PC games. I've played a bit with overclocking panels but that fails in comparison to...

Refresh rate can be set to 60, 100, 120 or 144hz ; LightBoost is supported at 100hz and 120hz ; Good input selection (Wish it had Displayport though) ; Price (Got it for $200 from another retailer)

Acer's QC still needs work (1 dead pixel on this one) ; Glossy finish (finger print magnet) on the front side of the panel ; Stand has minimal adjustments ; OSD could use a refresh ; No display port

Best Price/Performance Ratio

Buy this if you don't want/care about G-Sync/FreeSync and want a good a bang for buck.

When its on sale at ~200$, its the cheapest 144hz monitor on the market ; I can't discern any input lag, and it runs 144hz just fine ; Good colors ; Accents of the monitor are nice

Stand feels very bleh. A little wobbly and a bit insecure ; The OSD is fairly annoying and confusing, but you only have to go through it once ; Doesn't warrant 300 dollars at all. If you absolutely need to buy a monitor right now, and it's not at 200...

144hz budget monitor

Cheapest 144hz monitor on the market when on sale. There are better monitors such as my previously owned one which I will end up purchasing again the next time it goes on sale.

Bought this monitor to replace my broken BenQ XL2411Z ; Light weight and thin ; 144HZ should be a standard for gaming ; Bright and vivid colours ; No dead pixels ; Easy menu to navigate for adjusting your screen settings

The default settings for this monitor nearly blinded me as the brightness and contrast was at 70 ; The stand is very cheap and leaves the monitor to wobble about so if you plan on moving around lots while gaming it may become an annoyance, if you plan...

Great Monitor

I feel for the price this is a great monitor. I use it to play games and surf the web. If you have a decent video card the graphics should look crisp and clear. Text is sharp and easy to read. I haven't tried the 3D beyond the demos

I have no complaints at the moment. However, I feel I received what I expected. Your tech knowledge may influence your experience differently

Acer GN246HL

VGA, DVI, HDMI connectivities make this monitor a good choice for anything, starting with computers and ending with consoles.

1080p videos look exceptionally good on this monitor, nice quality for a TFT monitor. Also, has wide angles of view that, I`d say are a bit less than those 160(V) written in specifications, but still more than enough for a single user ; Works good, I...

Was a good buy at its old price.

When I originally bought this is was $260 before going on sale for $180 (after I bought it) and then going to a price of $300. At that price you start looking elsewhere

What can I say? 144hz is good. Monitor is nice and bright, colors are good for a TN. 120hz light boost is boss ; So for me I got this for CSGO as every frame counts and split second shots win rounds. A 120hz+Vsync (in driver not game) a slight input is...

Very strong inverse ghosting that was so bad i couldnt use it like that so Idid the toastyx light boost mod and haven't looked back ; When the image is still it looks great but when you move the colors become washed out and it makes it look bland and...

Cool monitor, sad that I can't take advantage of refresh rate

Super bummed, I could get a 60 hz low response monitor for less than $170, but if I get a new computer in the coming years I'm sure I'll love this monitor.

Monitor itself is beautiful, colors are great, brightness is great, darks are great. The issue being that it won't output over 60 hz unless you have it on DVI-D. Coming into the monitor, I didn't know that you had to use display or DVI-D to to get 144...

No display port, which I didn't think would be a big deal but it has turned into one

Very solid monitor

If you spend a extra 30 dollars to get a monitor stand Its the best deal you can get around. If you really want the best out of this monitor you need to play with your gpu settings and monitor settings to get the best possible picture like any other...

This monitor is great for gaming. After you do some lighting adjustments on your gpu and monitor. It works great. I had no dead pixels. Packaging was solid. It comes with the DVID cable for 144hertz advantage (remember hdmi can only run at 60hertz)....

The only con to this monitor is the stand. That's what is poorly built on this monitor. Overall it is light and solid. The stand is what makes this monitor a cheaper build quality
