great monitor with some flaws

A great monitor really, but the dead pixel and ghosting are making me think twice about purchasing two of these.

144hz works perfect with the cable provided ; easy to set up ; very lightweight ; overall great for gaming

no displayport ; powerbrick thingy gets extremely hot ; there is some odd ghosting when you make quick movements, noticed this after about 2 weeks. Didn't really pay attention to it before ; after 3 months there is a dead pixel on the first one that i...

I couldn't be more pleased

**120hz SHOULD BE INDUSTRY STANDARD** I certainly recommend this monitor. I wish I bought 2 when they were on sale. Also, I care not what certain snobs have to say about the eye not being able to detect the difference in frame rates above ~30hz. It's a...

ZERO DEAD PIXELS! (Maybe I'm just lucky?) ; No noticeable back light bleed ; The colors, while not the most vibrant, are very acceptable for gaming, not photo/video editing and production ; 144hz gaming is incredible

As others have stated, the buttons are not labeled on the chassis. That said, it's easy enough to navigate via the labels which pop up on the lcd once you press a menu button (They're all aligned with the physical buttons well enough). Coupled with the...

Has problems

The stand is more sturdy than my other monitor, and is an interesting look. The power button is well placed and pronounced.

I got this monitor on sale, for 210$. It came well packaged and looked great. As soon as I saw the 144hz I was blown away by how glorious it looked. The colors are bright and good looking

After trying a few things, I noticed something. There was some odd color blending and distortion at some parts in game, and I wondered why. I later realized it was ghosting, and quite a bit. It was so noticeable that it made fast movement look weird,...

Works like a champ

I can't tell if I got a dud of a monitor or I'm just doing something stupid. If these 2 issues weren't around I'd say it's the best 144hz monitor for the price. It seriously is a gorgeous display but it's just not working as advertised. Contacting ACER...

Gorgeous colors. I haven't seen many 1080p monitors pop like this one. It didn't even require any calibration on my end to make it look great ; The stand is pretty stable and the amount of tilt that is available is quite nice. I'm able to angle the...

144hz just doesn't work on my end. 120hz is fine. I've done every fix you can think of and I have tried both DVI ports on my GTX970 (along with 2 DVI-D cables). All I get is a black screen on 144hz which sort of defeats the whole purpose of getting the...

Dead Pixel

It's 2015 and companies are still selling defective displays... Why? Why should I have to be the one to live with this?

144hz!

Others said the colors and the stand were flemsy. I think the colors are just fine out of the box what you would expect for a normal monitor. For those wanting to mount this for consoles instead of a PC, it may be different because you cannot change...

Fast, clean, smooth, and bright ; Colors are great ; Nice "Cool" feature to tone down the intensity of the monitor if needed ; I can really see the true nature of my video card with this monitor
