Great all around monitor

Games still look great on this monitor despite 5ms and 60hz! -- I noticed that on bright white pages, the monitor would make a quiet, high-pitched whine. This went away after a few months of use. Not a deal breaker.

low cost, great value ; good size 23.8inch ; 1080p ; IPS!!! :D awesome accurate colors ; very slim and good looking ; magnet on the base (i use it to hold mouse weights) ; buttons and menus are decent

5ms is noticeable in games, but not a big deal ; 60hz is not as smooth as 120 or 144 hz monitors, but you get ips colors instead. I think it's worth it ; Whine for the first few months of use (see other thoughts)

Perfect for Eyefinity/Surround

If you want to get three monitors for gaming, these are your best option on the market, especially for the price.

I ordered three of these monitors to setup in eyefinity for gaming, and was blown away at the build quality considering the price. The colors are very good, much richer than other panels I have used in the past, and all three monitors seemed to have...

The monitors are slightly lopsided out of the box, and multiple together will look as if they are at different heights, but after given a bit of force, they will straighten out. The downside during use that I have noticed is that the splash screens on...

Acer H236HLbid (UM.VH6AA.003)

I managed to eventually get a replacement from acer (customer support site sucks) for the first one and they sent me the wrong monitor back in return. If it was only one of the 3 that stopped working correctly then I would have rated it higher because...

For the price these monitors are not bad, if they work for more than half a year

I bought 3 and one started having visual defects on the screen in 3 months, another one went 4 months later, and now the last one just started having the same visual effects. The left 1/3 of the screen starts turning a different color and has lines...

A discovery!

OK so here is what I did, I was looking for monitors at Newegg, and happened to stumble on these. I thought they were good enough so I decided to buy two of them. When they arrived they were all intact, I built the base attached it to the monitor...

Ok so the pros are that these monitors are extremely sleek and just look astonishing on the desk. The bezel from the monitor as you can probably tell from in the pictures is pretty much non existent except for the bottom part. On top of being low cost...

Alright so now on the the cons. These monitors are not mountable to any type of arm, since they are missing the screws on the back of the screen. The monitors can only tilt, you will not be able to adjust the height of the monitors at all, zero! These...

No complaints

I would definitely recommend this monitor.

Clear, crisp display. Size is just right

Not really anything to complain about except it could be a little faster powering up

Good monitor, needs some QC

Glossy screen which some people won't like, and it uses a power brick that some people won't like either. The crooked base was a disappointment since I chose this monitor over another monitor because the other had a reputation for wobbling. But, even...

Bright colorful high contrast screen with good viewing angle - like IPS should be. Unobtrusive power light. VGA/DVI/HDMI inputs. Came with a full set of video cables (see cons)

Arrived with two DVI cables, but no power cord. Fortunately I found one at a local store ; Base was slightly bent - 5/8 inch (15mm) difference between height of lower left and lower right corners. Tried reassembling it several times to make sure it...

The ghosting was pretty bad for me in my opinion. I had to buy another monitor because I was getting dizzy during gaming. I would not suggest IPS monitors for gaming purposes.

Really good color ; Very small bezel

Ghosting ; Bad stand ; Takes a while to turn on ; Glossy screen

Beautiful Monitor, best i ever had.

I'll have to jerry rig it to mount it on an arm. I'm thinking double sided tape, or take off the back panel and cut hole on it like a brave person did in a link i found.

Beautiful monitor. I love the edge to edge glass, which cover the bezel on the edges. The side bezels are thin but nothing to brag about (its very pretty though). The base stand is a dark brushed aluminum plastic which compliments any desk. Also the...

No VESA mount!! I'll have to jerry rig it to mount it on an arm. Im thinking double sided tape ; The Stand does not come off easily! I tried to remove it with great difficulty since it does not have an easy release mechanism
