Acer K272HUL

The Acer K272HUL is a modestly priced 27-inch, In-Plane Switching (IPS) monitor that delivers accurate colors, generally good gray-scale performance, and a 2,560-by-1,440-resolution image.

Reasonably priced. Solid performance. High-resolution panel

Tilt-only stand. Weak speakers. Plain design

If you've been itching to move up to a big-screen, Wide Quad High-Definition (WQHD) monitor, but have been holding off until prices dropped below the $500 mark, your wait is over. The Acer K272HUL is a 27-inch, In-Plane Switching (IPS)-based display...

Acer K272HUL review

4K is the big buzzword in the monitor business these days, but its debut means more than the addition of yet another resolution for buyers to think about when weighing their options. Going 4K also forces panels that were once the king of the hill...

Inexpensive ; Plenty of video inputs ; Gamma 2.2 out of the box ; Bright backlight

Unimpressive gamut out-of-the-box ; Best color accuracy achieved at low brightness settings ; Stand and bezel feel cheap

The $450 Acer K272HUL offers a 2560x1440 resolution, a 27-inch panel and decent image quality;not bad for the price.

Acer K272HUL 27" WQHD LED Display Preview

Preview: The 27" Acer K272HUL has a better than 1080p WQHD resolution, 16:9 aspect, two HDMI inputs, and integrated speakers making it perfect for spreadsheets, games, or movies.

We like seeing displays that can be used in your bedroom or your office. The 27" Acer K272HUL has a better-than-1080p WQHD resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, two HDMI inputs, and integrated speakers. While its intended use is certainly at a desk, the...

Acer K272HUL

It's amazing how little you need to spend to get a good-quality monitor these days, and the Acer K272HUL is a prime example. Squeezing in a 27in, 2,560 x 1,440 panel for less than £400 is quite a feat.

Acer’s affordable K272HUL skimps on the features but serves up fine image quality for the money

4k for 720p

I had never owned a high resolution IPS panel before, and bought this with a 780ti to push it. The first thing I noticed was how small everything becomes at this resolution. If you haven't considered this, and you don't have 18 year old eyes, I...

This is an amazing monitor. You simply will not find a better price on high quality IPS panel, if you shop around. If you spend more all you will be getting are additional features. Stands, speakers, USB connections. As for it not being true 4k, I...

As others have said the stand and speakers are cheap. This is a high quality featureless IPS panel

Whines like a spoild child

inexpensive for a WQHD

I was looking for a monitor that gave me more than 1920 x 1080 and decided on the 2450 x 1440. The fonts all seem pixelated. I have calibrated it but it's still hard on my eyes. I downloaded SwitchResX and this doesn't help either. The colors are nice,...

Bought Two. Pleased with Both.

My father and I split two of these when they were on sale. We are both very pleased with the purchase. I have no comments on the included speakers, since we haven't tested them, and do not intent to use them.

No defects ; Clear, crisp picture ; Vibrant colors ; Supports Displayport daisy-chaining

The included stand is mediocre at best. It can only tilt forward and backward. I considered deducting an egg for this, but many monitors have similar mounts ; It makes my secondary monitor (1080p, TN panel) seem very inadequate in comparison

Acer K272HUL

What I listed as cons I don't consider to be cons but they might be to other people so that is why I put them there but I wont detract my rating of the product be cause of it. I love this monitor and does just exactly what I want it to do. As a note to...

Nice large screen with nice colour ; Large selections of ports on the back making connecting it very easy to any device. DP 1.2 for chaining is a nice option to have though I will never use it

As others have said, the base is relatively flimsy for the price you are paying for it, but with the screen so large once you get it set just right you most likely wont be moving it again. Speakers are like all other monitor speakers, they are terrible...

Very nice monitor

Didn't use the built-in speaker since have center speaker and saw negative reviews on speaker quality.

2650x1440 resolution worked out of box ; Very sharp picture

Buttons not labeled

WQHD means 1440p resolutions!

Pixeleated, only HD not WQHD ; Massive amount of red artifacts in pixels
