Acer K272HUL

The Acer K272HUL is a modestly priced 27-inch, In-Plane Switching (IPS) monitor that delivers accurate colors, generally good gray-scale performance, and a 2,560-by-1,440-resolution image.

Reasonably priced. Solid performance. High-resolution panel

Tilt-only stand. Weak speakers. Plain design

If you've been itching to move up to a big-screen, Wide Quad High-Definition (WQHD) monitor, but have been holding off until prices dropped below the $500 mark, your wait is over. The Acer K272HUL is a 27-inch, In-Plane Switching (IPS)-based display...

Acer K272HUL review

4K is the big buzzword in the monitor business these days, but its debut means more than the addition of yet another resolution for buyers to think about when weighing their options. Going 4K also forces panels that were once the king of the hill...

Inexpensive ; Plenty of video inputs ; Gamma 2.2 out of the box ; Bright backlight

Unimpressive gamut out-of-the-box ; Best color accuracy achieved at low brightness settings ; Stand and bezel feel cheap

The $450 Acer K272HUL offers a 2560x1440 resolution, a 27-inch panel and decent image quality;not bad for the price.

Acer K272HUL 27" WQHD LED Display Preview

Preview: The 27" Acer K272HUL has a better than 1080p WQHD resolution, 16:9 aspect, two HDMI inputs, and integrated speakers making it perfect for spreadsheets, games, or movies.

We like seeing displays that can be used in your bedroom or your office. The 27" Acer K272HUL has a better-than-1080p WQHD resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, two HDMI inputs, and integrated speakers. While its intended use is certainly at a desk, the...

Acer K272HUL

It's amazing how little you need to spend to get a good-quality monitor these days, and the Acer K272HUL is a prime example. Squeezing in a 27in, 2,560 x 1,440 panel for less than £400 is quite a feat.

Acer’s affordable K272HUL skimps on the features but serves up fine image quality for the money

Didn't use the built-in speaker since have center speaker and saw negative reviews on speaker quality.

2650x1440 resolution worked out of box ; Very sharp picture

Buttons not labeled

Well, I'm impressed. This display is so brilliant that I had to tone it down. Everything is so clear compared to my prior 3 year old monitor. I did however have issues at initial installation. At first, all that showed up on the screen was the...

Brilliant display

Unmarked and nearly invisible buttons

Excellent Monitors for the Price: All Three Work Prefectly

If you want an excellent, inexpensive, WQHD monitor. This is it. Here's some bonus notes: SPEAKER: I never tried it. I feel like if it makes sound at all, that's about all you should really expect from a speaker on a monitor. I'm not really sure why...

Excellent Size to Pixel Density (any smaller and it'd be hard to read) ; Excellent color reproduction ; Excellent contrast ; Excellent brightness ; Multiple choices for connectivity ; Fairly light, good for mounting ; I have to say I love these...

The Plastic Base ; Now here's the deal, the base isn't all that bad. It works, it's simple, and it tilts a little bit. It's a bit tough to snap in properly, but it does hold alright. The thing I didn't like is the bottom has a plastic "edge" which...

Well pleased

Size, resolution, brightness - all excellent

None come to mind. I do wish it (and most other monitors now) came with raise/lower stands in addition to tilt

Huge, sharp, vivid, but.....

This is my third Acer monitor I have bought from NewEgg and the first one that has given me any problem at all. When my in-store credit becomes active I will probably put it toward my fourth. Thought I was going to have to deal with the manufacturer...

Zero bad pixels, vibrant color that makes my old monitor pale by comparison. Higher pixel density makes for sharper everything. Item was shipped by a carrier I never heard of but it got here AHEAD of schedule and in great shape

May be too big for my workspace, find myself turning my head slightly to see the edges. IPS glow is noticeable in the corners, more so on the right side, but only when the screen is black. I think the IPS thing is hyped a bit, not as perfect as I was...
