Acer K272HUL

The Acer K272HUL is a modestly priced 27-inch, In-Plane Switching (IPS) monitor that delivers accurate colors, generally good gray-scale performance, and a 2,560-by-1,440-resolution image.

Reasonably priced. Solid performance. High-resolution panel

Tilt-only stand. Weak speakers. Plain design

If you've been itching to move up to a big-screen, Wide Quad High-Definition (WQHD) monitor, but have been holding off until prices dropped below the $500 mark, your wait is over. The Acer K272HUL is a 27-inch, In-Plane Switching (IPS)-based display...

Acer K272HUL review

4K is the big buzzword in the monitor business these days, but its debut means more than the addition of yet another resolution for buyers to think about when weighing their options. Going 4K also forces panels that were once the king of the hill...

Inexpensive ; Plenty of video inputs ; Gamma 2.2 out of the box ; Bright backlight

Unimpressive gamut out-of-the-box ; Best color accuracy achieved at low brightness settings ; Stand and bezel feel cheap

The $450 Acer K272HUL offers a 2560x1440 resolution, a 27-inch panel and decent image quality;not bad for the price.

Acer K272HUL 27" WQHD LED Display Preview

Preview: The 27" Acer K272HUL has a better than 1080p WQHD resolution, 16:9 aspect, two HDMI inputs, and integrated speakers making it perfect for spreadsheets, games, or movies.

We like seeing displays that can be used in your bedroom or your office. The 27" Acer K272HUL has a better-than-1080p WQHD resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, two HDMI inputs, and integrated speakers. While its intended use is certainly at a desk, the...

Acer K272HUL

It's amazing how little you need to spend to get a good-quality monitor these days, and the Acer K272HUL is a prime example. Squeezing in a 27in, 2,560 x 1,440 panel for less than £400 is quite a feat.

Acer’s affordable K272HUL skimps on the features but serves up fine image quality for the money

only meets resolution spec with DVI

I use macs - the pixelation that BennyVancouver saw is because the monitor will show the screen at 2560x1440, but looks bad, as if the cable was bad, in the old VGA days. To get display port, I could have gotten "Accell B087B-003J Mini DisplayPort to...

With a dual-link DVI connection is looks nice. I got it on sale (from worstbuy, 350), so at the time the price was good

display port and HDMI connections are limited to 1920 x 1080p at 50Hz and 1920 x 1080i at 60Hz. search acer support for K272HUL. I returned it for this reason alone

Acer 1440p

I really enjoyed upgrading to 1440p. AH-VA panels are very nice in regards to both response time and color reproduction / viewing angle. Good for gaming, media consumption, work and whatever else most people would probably throw at a 1440p monitor.

AH-VA Panel is very nice and crisp, good color, good response times, good viewing angles, etc ; Settings menu is easy to navigate and works well, brightness can be turned down quite low, and vice-versa ; Cheap, I bought on sale for $300 during...

None so far with the monitor, I've had good luck with Acer products ; Windows 7 scaling took a little while to get use to, and I had to up my browser scaling a bit in order to read some things ; Windows 8 scaling is much better than Windows 7 imo ;...

Nice monitor for the price

For the price it's a good value, color reproduction punches above its weight

Easy to assemble and configure out of the box ; It's not particularly well contructred but it's also no the abomination other reviews report below ; Easily used display port to get upper resolution ; Color reproduction was solid and looks more richer...

Bit of backlight bleed in lower two corners, again not a travesty for me but others have may want to take note this is not an a list quality product ; If you are going to forego the default mount and use VESA DO NOT snap the default in, it's a devil to...

Great Value

No dead pixels, incredibly fast shipping, bleeding isn't bad, but is noticeable on a pure black screen. A comparable "name brand" monitor is in the $600-$800 range, making this a great deal. Very noticeable upgrade from my 1920x1080 22" monitor. Highly...

Price ; Resolution ; Size ; Fast shipping

The stand is a bit wobbly, but if you don't move it or bump into it, you won't notice ; Speakers are a joke, just pretend this monitor doesn't have speakers. You won't want to use them

Great QHD display; Displayport Windows 8.1 issue

Vibrant QHD display ; 2 HDMI outputs ; Great price

Minor issue with Display port and Windows 8.1. Display port will not have a signal while connected to my GTX 970. HDMI is good enough for now though

good quality IPS

Other people have said they have problems with pixelation. I had this problem at first too because I was replacing a 1080p monitor and used my old DVI-D single link cable. It fits in the slot but will not work. Use a dual link cable.

Sharp image, good contrast, good refresh rate, lots of screen real estate

not the best choice for gaming due to being an IPS panel and having blur issues. If you are buying for 100% gaming that has a lot of fast action like FPS games choose an LED screen but this screen is still pretty decent for gaming
