Acer K272HUL

The Acer K272HUL is a modestly priced 27-inch, In-Plane Switching (IPS) monitor that delivers accurate colors, generally good gray-scale performance, and a 2,560-by-1,440-resolution image.

Reasonably priced. Solid performance. High-resolution panel

Tilt-only stand. Weak speakers. Plain design

If you've been itching to move up to a big-screen, Wide Quad High-Definition (WQHD) monitor, but have been holding off until prices dropped below the $500 mark, your wait is over. The Acer K272HUL is a 27-inch, In-Plane Switching (IPS)-based display...

Acer K272HUL review

4K is the big buzzword in the monitor business these days, but its debut means more than the addition of yet another resolution for buyers to think about when weighing their options. Going 4K also forces panels that were once the king of the hill...

Inexpensive ; Plenty of video inputs ; Gamma 2.2 out of the box ; Bright backlight

Unimpressive gamut out-of-the-box ; Best color accuracy achieved at low brightness settings ; Stand and bezel feel cheap

The $450 Acer K272HUL offers a 2560x1440 resolution, a 27-inch panel and decent image quality;not bad for the price.

Acer K272HUL 27" WQHD LED Display Preview

Preview: The 27" Acer K272HUL has a better than 1080p WQHD resolution, 16:9 aspect, two HDMI inputs, and integrated speakers making it perfect for spreadsheets, games, or movies.

We like seeing displays that can be used in your bedroom or your office. The 27" Acer K272HUL has a better-than-1080p WQHD resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, two HDMI inputs, and integrated speakers. While its intended use is certainly at a desk, the...

Acer K272HUL

It's amazing how little you need to spend to get a good-quality monitor these days, and the Acer K272HUL is a prime example. Squeezing in a 27in, 2,560 x 1,440 panel for less than £400 is quite a feat.

Acer’s affordable K272HUL skimps on the features but serves up fine image quality for the money

Very handy light

I purchased this light previously as a Christmas gift 1 year ago. I was impressed enough that I eventually decided to purchase one for myself, and I've been pleased with its performance. I use it as a reading lamp on my night stand.

Convenient, space efficient, aesthetically pleasing

dead pixels

I love the monitor.. at least the pixels that work

I called Acer tech support, and despite the monitor having 2 dead pixels, they will only honor the warranty of a total of 4 die

Great first 1440p monitor

Bezel - It's piano ultra gloss black. It looks nice until you touch it. then fingerprints stick. You don't notice it ina dark room as the panel is so bright, but when the lights are on or if the blinds are open and the sun is up, you'll notice it....

Price - I picked this puppy up for $300 plus a $50 mail in rebate. That's $250 for a 27 inch 1440p IPS display. I figured it a good price to dip my toes into the 1440p world and see how my GPU holds up. A GTX 980 with the games I play peg the needle at...

Stand - leaves a lot to be desired. It works. I've used monitors with this type of stand for years before, but they aren't really good and look pretty janky. Also there is no sort of cable management options with the stand. So your cables will just...

Another NewEgg "Deal"

I love how many items I've purchased in the last month that either don't work, or come with terrible customer service (from the manufacturer, this isn't Newegg's fault)

Wow, a $300 2K monitor WITH speakers

Yeah, too bad the speakers DON'T WORK! What a "great deal

Excellent workhorse monitor

I love this monitor. It's been my main monitor for over a year, and I've used it for everything from working on code to watching movies, to playing games. It's been great at everything. It has enough pixel real-estate for everything I need to do with...

Great screen and color, great resolution for the size, good color/brightness and contrast out of the box

Can be TOO bright. Speakers are mediocre. Still a bit pricey considering 4k screens are available
