Acer Predator XB271HU

The 27-inch Acer Predator XB271HU offers very good gaming performance, a fully adjustable stand, and lots of style.

Nvidia G-Sync anti-tearing technology. Very good gaming and gray-scale performance. Fast refresh rate. Stylish design.

Expensive. Middling color accuracy. Weak speakers. Only two video inputs.

Conclusion With the Acer Predator XB271HU, you get excellent gaming performance, thanks to a 144Hz refresh rate and Nvidia's G-Sync technology. It offers all of the cool gamer-friendly features that you get with other Predator models, including Aim...

Acer Predator XB271HU

The Acer Predator XB271HU is one of a new breed of gaming monitors that not only features the high refresh rate you expect of a gaming display but has the great image quality you'd associate with an IPS panel too.

WOW!

I recommend this only to ppl that want the absolute best!! if you have an average looking girl and drive a Chevy Impala, this panel is not for you.

Very expensive but worth every penny. If you spend so much for high end components for your build why cheap out on a monitor? 0 dead pixels no noticeable light bleed very heavy solid build!!

not a con of the monitor, but my gtx 970 struggles on some games with high settings should not be a problem when i get my gtx 1080 in a few days :D

Awesome!

Looks good, fast Gsync, AWESOMEE

Had to OC to avoid Gsync screen offset.. if it happens to you alt tabbing/exiting gsync you'll know. Easy fix though. minor bleed, they crank brightness up to make it seem nonexistent out of the box

Impressed - Beautiful monitor and no broken pixels or blb!!

I wanted a 1440 monitor and was debating between this acer predator xb271hu or an asus rog swift pg278. I chose this over the rog swift for two reasons - IPS and Quality Control. I felt like I made the right decision since my predator monitor came in...

-first and foremost, NO BLACK LIGHT BLEED OR BROKEN PIXELS!!! -beautiful screen and externals -the stand is very sturdy -adjustment is extremely flexible and pretty neat tbh (it has this fit spring that counters the weight of the monitor perfectly so...

-the base shape - the angles of it are awkward for my desk size, i'd prefer smaller although it keeps it in place -the On-light button is bright and a minor distraction not very many cons imo

Lots of ghosting

This may be an isolated issue or it may not be. I liked this monitor when I had first reviewed it. But now I feel like I wasted a ton of money.

IPS, 144hz, 1440P, Gsync, whats not to love right?

This monitor has some horrible ghosting problems, for me at least. I didn't realize what it was at first because I've never had a monitor that had this problem before. But it is bad enough that I have now turned off Gsync and turned on Ultra Low Motion...

Best gaming experience ever!

I did have some backlight bleed on first one and 1 dead pixel. Newegg was prompt to replace it and the second one came PERFECT. There is a bit of a lottery with any 165hz IPS but the Acer has the best quality control at the moment. Thanks Acer for an...

I can't type words beautiful enough to describe gaming on this monitor...

Absolutely none!

Pretty good so far

I would recommend this to people who have decently high end setups. It's not 4K, but the refresh rate and the styling are more than enough for me. Apparently it isn't uncommon to get panels that have lots of dead pixels or some other defects. I guess I...

It's HUGE (for a pc monitor) It looks pretty schweet Dem Pixels 165hz makes everything look SO NICE!

That price. I just rebuilt my PC. The monitor was worth over half of what I put into my PC. Wow, this thing is expensive. The pics make it look like the screen goes up to the edges of the plastic bezel, but that's not the case. There's about 1/4" of...

Love it, but nervous

Running 2K at 144Hz with a single GTX980TI Haven't tried overclocking yet Owned for just a few days so far

- Beautiful and smooth 2K playing all kinds of games (Witcher 3 at max settings, WoW, Wolfenstien New Blood) - Adjustable height is great and monitor fits under my 19 inch desk hutch. - 144Hz is awesome

- Got a lot of stutter once maybe 3-4 hours after initial setup, but a reboot seemed to fix it and haven't seen the problem in the last couple days. If it happens again I might try checking the refresh settings. - Had a strange issue where a small line...
