Acer Predator Z35 review

Acer's Z35 is the fastest widescreen monitor around.

The Predator has speed on its side. Games look buttery smooth as they approach 200 frames per second, and it’s not hard to see why Acer thought a huge, high-refresh monitor would be a good idea. The panel and processing are top-notch as well, allowing...

Acer Predator Z35

The Acer Predator Z35 is a massive 35-inch curved monitor designed for gaming. It features Nvidia's G-Sync anti-tearing technology and offers smooth gameplay, but its color accuracy and gray-scale performance could be better.

Nvidia G-Sync anti-tearing technology. Up to 200Hz refresh rate. Powerful speakers. Good gaming performance in our tests.

Expensive. Limited video inputs. Middling color and gray-scale performance in testing.

Conclusion With the Acer Predator Z35, you get a huge, curved 35-inch screen with an inky-black background as your battlefield and a nice assortment of gamer-centric features, including crosshair aiming, programmable game presets, and G-Sync...

Acer Predator Z35P review: Huge, curved G-SYNC gaming monitor

The Acer Predator Z35P gaming monitor is huge, curved, and you'll learn all about how it works and why it earns a Techaeris Top Pick in this review.

Giant, beautiful display ; Sturdy stand with VESA mount if preferred ; Easy to navigate controls ; Numerous options to adjust color, brightness, etc. ; Several blue light reduction modes ; 3 profiles for quick-change settings ; 4 additional USB 3.0 ports

Price will turn some away ; Power and video plugs are a bit tough to install, though this shouldn't be a huge concern after the initial setup ; Speakers are better, but still not great

A 35” curved monitor isn’t going to be for everybody. Shoot, this monitor may not even fit on your desk depending on your setup. However, if you can swing it, I think you’ll really appreciate what the Acer Predator Z35P offers. All the screen real...

Acer Predator Z35 35-inch Curved G-Sync Monitor Review

It seemed as if gaming monitors had reached a plateau when G-Sync and FreeSync came along. Adaptive-refresh technology is a big step forward in video processing that brings smooth motion and tear-free gaming to more users than just those with expensive...

Super-wide immersive form factor•Stunning contrast and image depth•Saturated yet accurate color•Build quality•200Hz•ULMB•G-Sync•Best ULMB implementation we’ve seen yet

Some motion artifacts at speeds over 144Hz • Expensive

The perfect display has yet to cross our doorstep and the Z35 certainly has some flaws. But it presents a beautiful saturated image and will make your games look incredible if you pick the right set of options. In the lofty world of premium gaming...

Acer Predator Z35P review: A great-looking gaming monitor that’ll empty your bank account

The Z35P offers fantastic visuals and performance, but it's simply too expensive

Excellent contrast ratio ; Fantastic colour reproduction for a gaming monitor ; Good build quality

Ridiculously expensive ; Inverse ghosting on Extreme Overdrive settings ; Chunky bezels

Unfortunately, that’s an issue that’s impossible to get over. At £1,030, you’re grossly overpaying for a panel that only offers slightly better colours and an extra 20Hz over the AOC AG352UCG. If you like the sound of a large 21:9 ultrawide gaming...

Acer Predator Z35 35" Gaming Monitor Review

If you are going to name your product a Predator, it better be a beast. The Z35 is just that.

Beautiful screen, Rich features, Large, Curvature works well

Acer predator z35

As I've just bought the components to build a new pc gaming rig I thought a new monitor would be the icing on the cake for the build. I wasn't disappointed. If your after a good solid ultra wide monitor for gaming/videos etc.....you can't go wrong with...
