Acer S220HQLAbd Black 21.5" 5ms LED Backlight Widescreen LCD Monitor 250 cd/m2 ACM 100,000,000:1 (1000:1)

good picture and nice looking

cheap stand

All around good monitors

They are very thin and quite light. I like how short the bases are compared to my old dell monitors, but for some this may be a problem. I love the picture, very crisp and clear

Nothing really important, I have one monitor plugged in via VGA and the other DVI, same exact settings, but the VGA plugged monitor seems to be just a bit brighter

Great picture. Good price range, especially when on sale. Very easy to set up and use

Great value monitor

The included cables are short (~1m long) but at least they're included. No speakers. This monitor is great for everyday use and gaming. It's very nearly up to snuff for graphics work as well; the gamma is spot on with sRGB standards, but it loses...

Cheap! Super thin and light, low power consumption. No dead pixels, came with DVI and RGB cables

No height adjustment

Best monitor i've owned

Stand seems precarious at first glance, but is actually quite sturdy and adjustable. I'm using the monitor for gaming, and although the brightness will need to be toned down for most, the unit has been effectively plug & play. Very easy to set up.

Contrast is fantastic, and the picture clarity through DVI connection is sharp/crystal clear. The unit came within 2 days of my initial order, and came undamaged. The viewing angles for the unit seem to be quite large

It cost money

Good enough for gaming

Price was right when I bought it. I don't do any serious imaging work, so this monitor is good enough for me

Normal TN panel cons

Acer S220HQLAbd Black 21.5" 5ms LED Backlight Widescreen LCD Monitor 250 cd/m2 ACM 100,000,000:1 (1000:1)

I was one of the few that put the "neck" onto the base backwards before I read the instructions. If you do this, it makes it very difficult to detach it from the base again, and I have no idea why. There are no latches or anything that lock it into...

Great price (on sale for $120) ; Sturdy base, won't wobble for the most part ; Lightweight but still good quality ; No dead pixels

No HDMI port but definitely not a deal breaker ; Buttons are along the bottom ridge of the monitor, making it kind of an inconvenience when you can't see what you're pressing, but I could see some people preferring this

I'm happy.

Good color and sharpness. I spent decades as a color professional and this is the first time I have ever pulled a monitor out of a box and decided it was fine the way it was -no tweeking needed

Pretty soon the stand will be optional. Acer is finding new and ingenious ways to put less into their frame. Stand lifts monitor only 2" off desk. Bottom of frame hits stapler and other desk-top stuff that used to fit under my previous Acer. Panel is...
