Acer S230HL Abii

The Acer S230HL Abii is an energy-efficient 23-inch monitor offering dual HDMI inputs and good color performance at an attractive price.

Slim, stylish cabinet. Good color and small text quality. Two HDMI ports. Low-power consumption

Tilt-only stand. Some grayscale clipping. Narrow viewing angles

Decent monitor

If your on a budget to ahead and get this monitor. If your looking for something to last and be more durable get something with more of a standard power adapter. And if you want great video quality find something else. My old "17 dell lcd from 2002 has...

Cheap. Colors are not bad and the profile is very thin

Power cord is extremely fragile. It has been sitting in the same position since owning it and it will randomly turn off and back on. Even more so when you very slightly bump the power cord in the back. Contrast is terrible. There are no blacks, just greys

Great refubished monitor + price

Based on other reviews. And yeah some had issues of stuff being shipped messed up and other not. I am overall happy with a large monitor that plays pc games with great graphics and no problems. I would buy three more for around the house if I had the...

I thought buying a monitor of refurbished was a risk. But, so far, no issues. I found I can use this as a great gaming monitor. It is not top of the line, but for a budget builder like myself. I found it awesome for the price. And the graphics with...

some may be sent and will be different than others based on being a refurbished monitor. I lucked out I guess. But, new egg has always worked with me on anything so I figured I would give it a shot. cons, non to mention so far. Despite the cord it...

Probably Wouldn't Do Again

Probably will buy new in the future to ideally avoid issues.

Cheap

Buying a refurbished monitor I guess comes with its risks. I purchased two of these monitors at the same time. The first one I opened had no bubble wrap padding which allowed the base for the monitor to freely to move around in the box and naturally...

Decent monitor, low build quality.

Overall, it feels cheap and was poorly packed, but by no means is it a terrible monitor. The picture quality is nice and is suited well for the average budget-following user.

This monitor is somewhat cheap, good if you are trying to stay within a budget. It has DVI-D which is a must for crisp images. Colors and picture are decent, you get what you pay for

I received the package with almost no packing material inside the box to protect the delicate monitor. It had two rather deep scratches that I had to buff out with mineral oil. You can still see them when the monitor is off, but they are still (barely)...

Worth the price

I bought three of these refurbished and they all work great, there are no scratches or dead pixels and they have excellent resolution for the price

The stands are a pain to install, you have to put both hands on top and push down until you hear something pop then it will be locked in place. I thought I was going to break it because the screen is so thin

1920 x 1080 ; less than 100 bucks ; big ; DVI input ; It's all I ever need and want

I can tell it was refurbished. But i'm just picky ; No VISA mount

Perfect condition

Mixed reviews on the quality upon receiving the monitor. It's apparently hit or miss, but the RMA process is pretty good based upon other reviews. Definitely recommend this monitor.

Display looks great ; No dead pixels ; No scratches on frame ; Fully intact ; Came with DVI/VGA cables ; Looks great with gaming for the price, 5ms isn't bad ; On par with other 1080p monitors I have used, and nicely discounted

Can't mount (without modification/jerryrigging) ; That's it. Will edit if anything comes up

Not impressed

Good value for such a large screen

Fuzzy screen. Dark lackluster colors. Spent three hours calibrating image quality with minor results at best (used both windows 7 calibration tool, and online forums/websites). My old monitor that is six years older blows this out of the water as far...
