I have no idea where thes 2s and 3s are coming from I have had this monitor since may 2011. in that time I have left this thing running all night every night till this present day. I do a lot of gaming on it graphic design 1080p blueray movies and this...

Overall great monitor, it functions the way I like. Do not trust the other 2ms monitors because they are noted gray to gray which is basically useless. If the specs are correct, since it doesn't state GTG. its 2ms if not then its atleast 5ms. Also...

Great piece of tech. Low consumption of energy so barely any heat. Very slim and light weight, takes little space for a monitor. Very nice picture, you definitely need a graphics card for additional options to maximize the potential of this monitor....

The monitor's settings do not have a way to change color saturation. I had a graphics card so I used that instead to change it ; Once you place the monitor into the stand it seems to be permanent ; Was a bit confusing trying to turn the thing on since...

Acer S232HLAbid (ET.VS2HP.A01)

Purchased from a local retailer with credit I had available. I'm not sure where many of the complaints are coming from, but the picture quality has been great so far. Plenty of gaming, surfing the web, and accidently leaving it on over night more than...

Be Weary of this one

Acer is usually a pretty good company, but I guess there LED LCD monitors are still kinda in infant stages and dont always work as they should. I have some normal LCD monitors of theirs that work excellent. I would stay away until the technology improves.

23 Inches, very bright, excellent color when you get one that works. HDMI, DVI, and VGA inputs. The refresh time is very quick and had a very nice thin design

Bad blue hue, HDMI is junk, randomly flash black ; I wanted a quad 23" setup and first got 4 of these manufacturer refurbished. I set it all up DVI and come to find out that 2 are extremely blue in color and hurts the eyes while the other was less blue...

This thing is BRIGHT!

Colors were washed out at first on HDMI. I tried fiddling around with settings on the monitor but it didn't work. What fixed the issue was changing it to YCbCr instead of RGb. Now the colors pop and are quite vibrant even with brightness turned all the...

This monitor is snappy! Great response time, comes on quickly, SO BRIGHT! I actually turned the brightness all the way down on the monitor itself and games and whites are still extremely bright

None so far

Not a good one...pass it up

Did not buy at NewEgg, but instead at Best Buy so I could immediately return it w/o a need for RMA if I did not like it. Well, I don't like it. I returned it today. So, LED is definitely not any better than CCFL backlit displays just because it is LED....

Instant-on. No waiting for CCFL warm up. Decent contrast. Light. Sips power

Colors are WASHED OUT. No matter what I do it just does not match my Samsung B2330 CCFL display for color saturation and vibrance. I noticed the difference immediately. Also, the ACER panel is supposed to be 2ms but I don't think so! It has a...

Not the best, but it does great even with hard core gaming ; I play Battlefield 3 and Skyrim with no problem at all

I personally don't like the stand for it

Horrible Picture

i will be returning this and buying a different monitor from newegg.

Picked it up at another store for under $150. If you can get it for that price point and dont care what the picture looks like its not that bad of a deal

the colors are so... dull. I played with the settings on the monitor and my card for over an hour and couldnt make things look even acceptable. everything had a strong grey tint to it

Good Monitor

I spent some time researching a lot of monitors, went to several stores to see them all in action and this one for the price is the best value in my opinion. I think Dell monitors have better color and vibrance, but they're quite a bit more expensive too.

Good monitor, great price (picked it up locally for about the same price - hate having a single monitor shipped, it scares me), no dead pixels, color is good - best setting in my opinion is the standard "Graphics" setting - looks good with good color...

None so far, I didn't plan to wall mount (this one doesnt wall mount) so not a con to me - just note it doesnt mount

Faded Colors

WARNING: Be careful when mounting stand arm, there is currently no documented method for removing it again. Acer support was not able to produce any kind of instructions either. If you ever want to box it up for return, this could be a problem for you.

Nice, stylish design ; Low Price

Colors are not very vibrant at all. I've gone through extensive calibration in attempt to get the most out of this panel, but ultimately it can't compare even with some of my older Dell monitors ; If you don't care much about black values or color...
