Touch screen reliability

Keep your box! Most likely you will be sending it back to Acer within the 3 year warranty period. If it wasn't for the touch screen failure issues, this would be an easy 5 egg rating.

Screen image is amazing. Probably one of sharpest images I've seen on any monitor. The design where is rests on the desktop is very stable. The touch (while it works) is very nice. 3 year warranty (you'll need it)

Touch reliability. Out of two monitors, both have had the touch feature fail. The first one lasted about a year. The second was bad (1/4 of the screen dead to touch) out of the box. With this kind of failure rate, it's very hard to recommend this monitor

Great touch-screen. Made the computer more intuitive and friendly to kids, and I don't have to babysit anymore

ACER T232HL Nice Monitor but

The "kickstand" is stiff but rated to set the monitor at angle of 80 deg. to 30 deg. Mine was so stiff that when I had it standing up at 80 deg. and after about an hour it suddenly closed back up against the monitor and fell face flat on the desk,...

Monitor resolution, brightness, looks, and was recommended from a friend who owns the this monitor

DVD only contains the worthless instructions for set up,colors needed to be calibrated

Works Great!

I purchased the refurbished model, and as everyone knows... that can be a little risky. But at least in my situation, the only way I would ever know it wasn't new was only because it wasn't in the original box. All of the wiring was there, the screen...

The screen is very clear & sharp screen ; Touch screen if very responsive and accurate ; The multi-touch functionality works awesome ; Coloring seems to be spot on

The speakers could be much better ; The refresh rate is only 60Hz ; Doesn't have an external audio jack in the monitor (for quickly plugging in headphones or something) ; Doesn't have a webcam built in

Like it so far

Frankly, I'm not positive the cons are serious, hence I dinged the review only one egg. This thing is connected to a hoss of a build, and, so far (admittedly early on) it handles things well.

It seems sturdy. The stand is pretty stout - it's adjustments are perhaps stiff (as others have noted) for a reason. I've had zero problems with the touch capabilities, and am too fresh into the workstation touchscreen experience to have found any of...

As others have noticed, it's hard to imagine why the bezel is that wide, though maybe that'll be useful when I use it laid near-flat. Although the price is fairly low, it varied wildly during the time I watched, and I ended up paying more for it than I...

Flawless out of the box

This product came out of the box. It had every type of cord you might need. I plugged it all in and it worked perfectly with Windows 8.1. I gave it a 4 on value because I would like to have spent less, but I got my money's worth despite my being a...

great buy

Been using Acer products for about 15 years. Saw a fantastic price on this monitor and although I did not need a touchscreen, I decided to buy one. With the (special offer), there was no way I could pass up this deal. After connection setup, the monitor...

Just beautiful

Incredible . For being under $500. For me this is up there with the $1000 monitors. I am very critical of colors with my eyes. And this monitor delivers a beautiful spectrum . I love it.
