Acer X223WBD Black 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor

This is adequate general purpose monitor. It is a TN panel so viewing angles and light bleed are expected. The monitor is better than most TN panels and the picture quality can be improved with settings. The size is very good for work and web browsing...

Price, no dead pixels, DVI plus cables, size

Acer X223WBD Black 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor

Since the price was about $160, I went ahead and purchased it. However, when I finally got it, the color was totally washed off, and there was 3 stucked pixels in the middle. I tried to fix it through massaging it, however, it did not work. Now, I am...

Affordable Price

Washed off color, and 3 Stucked pixel

Acer X223WBD Black 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor

I've only used the monitor for a few days, but it seems like a solid display with reasonable quality. No dead pixels or any other apparent issues. The price and the warranty were what sold me.

Good price for the size.Easy setup - didn't need to do anything but plug in and select display resolution.3 year warranty

Initial color tuning seemed off.

Acer X223WBD Black 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor

Acer has made yet another large screen LCD monitor that is both affordable and of good quality with the X223WBD! Do I consider this "One of the Best?" ... well no, not if we're just talking about the best 22" LCD at any price, but for the price range...

16.7M colors (8-bit TN panel with no dithering), both DVI & Analog AND comes with BOTH cables, large, HDCP support, 3 year warranty

Poor stand with no height adjustment, as with just about all LCDs it needs quite a bit of calibration to get it looking right as well as it really only looks crisp & clear with the native resolution!

Acer X223WBD Black 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor

This LCD has more screen space than my previous 19" LCD. As with my other Acer LCD, this one also is too bright at the Default Factory Settings, so it needs to be adjusted manually. My previous LCD had a single button to change the signal source...

Works Well ; Has Both VGA and DVI-D Connections

Factory Default Settings Need to be Adjusted (Too Bright) ; Cannot Easily Change Signal Source with a Single Button

Been running for 6 years no problems

Really nice monitor, used as a primary montior for quite a while. Using as a second monitor with a 42" LCD TV. Been running for 6 years close to all day every day. No problems yet

Died after 8.5yr

Bought it back in 2008 Black Friday, with light usage (average of 2~3 hours a day) this monitor can lasts quite a long time. But for heavy users (more than 12 hours a day) I cannot speak for them ; Never had any complains while using it

None, unless 8.5 years isn't long enough for some people ; Only problem for my 'broken' monitor is that the capacitor went bad. The power lights keep blinking blue even after I unplugged it and plugged it back

Best purchase in a long time 0 regret.

I purchased this monitor 8(August)/27/2008. I will be coming up on my 6th year on this monitor and am just now wanting to upgrade to something bigger. I used to log easily 60+ hours per week on this monitor playing some serious world of warcraft, call...

Good quality ; Long lasting ; Great graphics (seriously.. I've used this monitor for 6 years of serious gaming now.)

Squeeks when you adjust it.. seriously.. nothing else is bad about it

Still like new after 4 yrs

I bought this monitor in April of 2009 and it is still perfect with NO issues at all. Until lately it was used a minimum of 3 hours per day. Very Happy!
