The AOC i2757fh ($299.99 list) is the latest player in the rapidly growing field of affordable IPS (in plane switching) monitors, and it's also our newest Editors' Choice for mainstream big-screen monitors. This 27-inch head-turner offers all the...

Very affordable. Solid IPS color and viewing angle performance. Sleek bezel-less design. Dual HDMI ports

Tilt-only stand. No USB ports

The AOC i2757fh is a slick looking 27-inch IPS monitor that delivers solid performance at a price that's hard to beat.

With monitor prices creeping lower than ever, even the latest IPS-based models are now affordable. Today, we look at a pair of 27-inch, LED-lit, 1080p displays from AOC and ViewSonic. Both products recently hit the market and are selling for around $300.

AOC I2757FH LED monitor review

There are a few occasions when you have to do a double-take to make sure you weren't seeing things. This is one of those times. The AOC I2757FH is a 27” IPS panel with LED backlighting and a street price of around £220. That's an awful lot of screen...

At this very low price you might expect that quite a few corners would be cut, but you’d be wrong. Only the frame edge feels flimsy and the only flaw is some light leak around the edge. That won’t impact every day use where the crisp display, vibrant...

Nice styling; incredibly thin; sharp, crisp text; very cheap; twin-HDMI ports; good response time; high dynamic contrast; built-in speakers; fine quality

Some light leak bottom right hand side and generally all round; limited interfaces; stand doesn’t swivel; build quality is slightly flimsy

Cracked, Dead Pixel, Smushed

None, it arrived destroyed.

This is the 3rd (and will be the final) broken monitor I have received now. The screen was cracked, it had a dead pixel and it had an odd blue tint in the middle of the screen. Currently waiting on 2 returns now, avoid this product!

good all around monitor

I, personally really love the look of the monitor and the sleek design that is comes in. I like how easy the stand was to put together and the 2 HDMI ports. And a shout out to Newegg for the quick delivery and service.

Even though I love the design of the monitor the stand is a bit wobbly and could need some adjusting. I know it was refurbished, but the monitor I bought has a dead pixel near the middle of the screen and and times can be distracting.

Great Monitor for the Money

An IPS panel for a great price. This monitor looks beautiful and isnt too bad on the response time (5ms). I use it for gaming and havent noticed any input lag but i will say ive never used a super high end monitor so this is what im used too.

Not compatible with VESA mounts, but there are adapter brackets for this and a few other monitors with the same mounting system.

Excellent monitor

Overall great monitor. Bought my first 8 months ago and just picked up a second because it was on sale.

This monitor delivers excellent image quality and the slim frame makes for a very modern look. Great for gaming, editing, and general use.

AOC probably could have left off the on board speakers and either lowered the price or added different features. They are simply OK.
