AOC e2752Vh

The AOC e2752Vh is a budget-friendly 27-inch monitor with a fast pixel response and a better-than-average pair of speakers. While features are scarce, and the panel has trouble displaying dark shades of gray, its color accuracy is good for the price.

Affordably priced. Solid gaming performance. Good audio output

Narrow viewing angles. Weak, dark gray-scale performance. Limited features

It wasn't long ago that you needed deep pockets to own a big-screen monitor, but nowadays you can get one for under $300 if you don't mind making a few sacrifices. With the AOC e2752Vh ($299.99), you get a 27-inch twisted nematic (TN) display that...

I own 2

I've noticed certain issues with both Nvidia and AMD using HDMI. With Nvidia the colors by default are jacked up, 500x too bright aka washed out. A registry tweak is needed to fix it, so if you were using Nvidia and it's washed out while using HDMI...

Size, Response time, Picture once calibrated. And Price

Needed calibration out of the box, not horrible, but not good enough

Excellent value, display not as sharp as my IPS LCD set.

1) excellent value for the price ; 2) built in speaker works fine for casual usage ; 3) has HDMI port, I'm using this with an Intel DC3217BY which only has HDMI port. Same HDMI port carries both video and audio

Not as sharp as a IPS LCD display that cost 2 x more. I'm not complaining as this is a great value for the price I paid

Da faq!?

I don/t know why they would not have shipped this item with more protective packaging. Currently waiting on newegg to send a replacement and when it arrives I'll update my review, but as of now I'm a very un-happy customer.

Shipping was fast

Package arrived damaged and was in the retail box, not a protective shipping container. Upon opening the box I instantly noticed the damaged top right portion of the monitor. Needless to say I am not happy

Great monitor for the price

I can't say if its great for the price now, but when I bought it it definitely was. It has really decent stats for the price and I had no problems with it at all. I just wish there were more inputs and that I could tilt the stand back.

Size, price, no problems, backlit, stats are pretty decent

Could use more inputs. Stand is not adjustable

Great budget 27"

My first 1080p monitor and I am pretty happy with it. I will probably get a separate stand for this monitor because it sways back and forth every time I barely move my desk.

Very bright display (configurable) ; Gorgeous and realistic color depth ; Lots of screen real estate for your money

The stand is a flimsy piece of plastic. I know this is commonplace on large, cheap monitors, but that doesn't mean I have to like it ; The buttons are stiff and make an annoying clicking noise when depressed ; To give an example of how flimsy the stand...

this thing goes on/off sale all the time wait until it is less than two hundred with free shipping

BIG - I mean this thing is freeky Big. My first 27 for a monitor. Easy HDMI ports

colors were a bit washed and too bright. but able to adjust with my controler card and adjustments on the monitor ; speakers are small and not great sound - but they work and since I don't use sound all that much it is nice to get the speakers off my...

What not to hate!

I had never purchased AOC equipment before. I was a bit nervous based on other reviews. I really could not be happier. I hate being happy!

I hate that the 2 big, beautiful screens blocking the view of the highway outside my window. I hate that it only took 5 minutes to set up two of these monitors instead of the hour I had planned. I hate the great sound that comes out of the speakers...

I may be forced to buy 2 for my wife. These monitor make the rest of my system look old and out of date. I am now forced to by a new gaming machine

Nice

At $200 with free shipping this was hard to pass up. Now it's back up to $250 with $7+ shipping, so I guess I pushed the button at the right time. My wife got herself a $600 Sony Xperia Z tablet, and I got this plus a Radeon 7950 video card. Next, I...

Nice monitor. It comes out of the box with a very bright screen, but that can be adjusted using the "i-Menu" utility that comes on the install disk. Obviously, this 27" model increases your viewing area; I'm upgrading from an old (5 years+) 24" Samsung

It's only 60Hz, but that's OK, I can live with that. The i-Menu comes out written in Chinese, but you can discern what it means by looking at the accompanying pictures. Not enough to deduct an egg, though

Dead pixel on arrival

Good colors, nice and bright

Had a dead pixel on arrival. I've purchased more than a dozen LCD monitors through family and work, and this is my first AOC monitor and my first dead pixel
