AOC G2460PG

Armed with an NvidiaG-Sync module and a 144Hz panel the AOC G2460PG offers solid gaming performance and a handful of user-friendly features.

Great gaming performance. G-Sync-enabled. Fully adjustable stand.

Only one video input. Narrow viewing angles. Slightly skewed greens.

Conclusion With the AOC G2460PG, gamers of all stripes can enjoy a smooth gaming experience without screen tearing or motion blur, thanks to the monitor's G-Sync circuitry, 144Hz refresh rate, and fast pixel response. The G2460PG delivers mostly...

AOC G2460PG 24-Inch Monitor Review: G-Sync Gets Cheaper

Many G-Sync-equipped monitors have been announced, but up until now, only Asus delivered. Today we review our second display with Nvidia's tech: AOC's G2460PG. It's a 24-inch TN screen with 144Hz refresh and a built-in motion blur reduction feature.

Perfect G-Sync implementation, 144Hz refresh rate, ULMB motion-blur reduction, solid build quality, very good color and grayscale performance

Gamma not to standard, not bright enough for optimal ULMB performance, it’s not an IPS panel

With G-Sync remaining a premium and expensive option, AOC's G2460PG represents the first value-oriented product in the genre. At about half the price of Asus' ROG Swift, you won’t give up much to either save some coin or put two monitors on your desktop.

AOC G2460PQU 24-inch 144Hz LED Widescreen Monitor Review

We're putting the new AOC G2460PQU through its paces here in the lab. This 144Hz monitor is designed for gamers, but does it hit its target?

AOC G2460PG G-Sync monitor review

The AOC G2460PG is a brilliant monitor, but its built-in G-Sync, while impressive, is far too expensive and ultimately superfluous

There are plenty of 144Hz alternatives to the G2460PG, including the excellent and Best Buy-winning

Verdict

We have seen Nvidia’s G-Sync technology before when we tested it on a 27″ 2560×1440 144Hz monitor, but we had concerns over the horsepower needed to make the most of its 144Hz Refresh Rate. Well, the AOC 2460PG answers that concern…

Review: AOC G2460PG

We've looked at a very similar monitor from Asus this issue, and on paper these two monitors perform admirably similarly. And it's a lot cheaper, though running at a smaller resolution than the Asus (2560 x 1440).

A solid price, and a very good monitor.

Uneven backlight

Yeah it's okay I guess. I got it because I wanted Gsync but I think my overall experience would have been better if I had forgone Gsync in favor of a display with more even lighting. I'd recommend something else for cheaper or something bigger for the...

Good crisp picture during bright scenes. Gsync works well.

Uneven backlighting is really distracting during dimly lit scenes.
